Genzler Amplification Magellan ULV-112T 1×12″ 350W Bass Speaker Cabinet – Black

Description

As part of the Genzler Amplification Magellan Ultra Light Vertical series, the MG-ULV-112T 1×12″ 350W bass speaker cabinet delivers full-scale bass response in one of the lightest vertical 1×12″ designs available. Weighing 19.5 lb. and built from ultra-light European multi-layer poplar plywood, this cabinet combines warmth, strength and reduced weight without sacrificing depth or clarity. Its vertical layout keeps dispersion off the floor for improved stage projection, while distinctive triangular front ports enhance airflow and structural rigidity. Designed by founder Jeff Genzler for bass players who demand portability without compromising tone, the Magellan ULV-112T offers tight low-end authority, articulate mids and adjustable high-frequency shimmer in a compact footprint that is easy to move between gigs.

Neodymium Power and Tuned Porting for Focused Projection

A premium 12″ neodymium loudspeaker with a dual-wound voice coil increases power handling and efficiency, delivering strong fundamentals and clean extension down to 40Hz, easily supporting the low B of five-string basses. A proprietary 1″ high-powered neodymium compression tweeter extends the top end smoothly, controlled by a custom 12 dB/octave crossover with 100W L-Pad level adjustment for precise high-frequency tailoring. With 350W power handling, 98 dB sensitivity and an 8-ohm load, the MG-ULV-112T bass cab is tuned for clarity, punch and balance at any volume.

Ultra-Light Bass Speaker Cabinet With Practical Gig-Ready Features

Full internal acoustic dampening, multi-ported internal bracing and sealed SpeakON and 1/4″ input jacks reduce unwanted resonance and cabinet air loss for focused performance. The top/rear recessed edge-lift bar handle allows comfortable one-hand carry, while integrated mounting bolts accept the MG-350-CRADLE, an optional bracket that securely attaches the Magellan 350 head to the cabinet for a compact, combo-style setup. Finished in heavy-duty textured black vinyl with nickel corners, woven grille cloth with metallic silver piping and large rubber feet for stability, the Magellan ULV-112T is built for bassists who want professional projection, consistent tone and a cabinet they can confidently bring to every session and stage.
