Leslie 122H Heritage Edition Rotary Speaker

Description

Few sounds in music history are as instantly recognizable?or as emotionally powerful?as a Hammond organ through a Leslie 122. The Leslie 122H Heritage Edition revives that iconic voice with uncompromising authenticity, recreating the classic rotary speaker experience in a full-size cabinet built from original design principles. Modeled after the revered 122 and 142 tone cabinets, the 122H captures not only the sound, but the materials, rotor construction, amplifier topology and visual details that defined the golden era of organ performance. For players who refuse to compromise on tone, feel or aesthetic, the search for a pristine vintage cabinet ends here.

Authentic Tube Circuitry With Dual 122/147 Character

At the core of the 122H is a 40W all-tube amplifier featuring a 12AU7 preamp stage and dual 6550 power tubes, delivering the warm, harmonically rich response associated with classic Leslie cabinets. The Heritage Series uniquely offers selectable 122-style and 147-style response curves within the same enclosure, giving players access to two distinct tonal personalities without changing cabinets. A high-compression horn driver and massive 15″ woofer reproduce swirling highs and authoritative low-end movement with remarkable depth and clarity. The result is the unmistakable shimmer, growl and spatial movement that defined countless recordings across jazz, gospel, rock and beyond.

Mechanical Rotors and Precision Servo Motor Control

True to its lineage, the 122H employs a wooden bass rotor and horn rotor built to original specifications, ensuring authentic acoustic interaction between rotating elements and cabinet construction. Brushless DC servo motors drive both rotors with exceptional stability, unaffected by power frequency or voltage fluctuations. Adjustable slow and fast speeds, along with customizable rise and fall times, allow performers to tailor rotor response to their playing style. LED indicators for slow, stop and fast modes provide clear visual feedback, while a rear-mounted adjustment panel keeps custom settings secure during transport and performance.

Vintage Construction With Modern Connectivity

Crafted from fine lumber-core materials and finished with original-style louvers and classic Leslie badging, the 122H Heritage Edition honors its visual and structural heritage. Modern integration ensures seamless operation with contemporary and vintage instruments alike, offering 11-pin input for current Hammond models, 6-pin DIN input for classic B-3, C-3 and A-100 organs, and a 1/4″ line input for keyboards and other instruments. A dedicated 1/4″ footswitch input provides speed control and a standard IEC power inlet supports global operation. The Leslie 122H Heritage Edition stands as a faithful continuation of a musical legacy?delivering the soul, depth and authority that only a true rotary speaker can provide.
