Orange Amplifiers OR60 60W Guitar Amp Head – Black

Description

Built in the U.K. with unmistakable Orange Amplifiers authority, the OR60 is a 60W all-valve guitar amp head designed for players who demand power, clarity and complete control on stage. Driven by a pair of 6L6 power tubes, the OR60 delivers tight low end, rich clean headroom and a response that takes boosts and pedals exceptionally well. A valve HT switch allows operation at full or half power without sacrificing feel, while a footswitchable second volume adds practical flexibility for live use. From sparkling cleans to aggressive drive, the OR60 is a single-channel workhorse built for demanding performance environments.

Single-Channel Design With Footswitchable Volume Boost

The OR60 keeps things focused with a single-channel layout, enhanced by a footswitchable second volume for instant level changes. This design lets players move seamlessly from rhythm to lead volumes without altering their core tone or adjusting controls mid-song. Whether used as a clean pedal platform or pushed into natural breakup, the volume boost provides added cut and presence exactly when needed.

Power Amp Tone Shaping With Bright, Presence and Resonance Controls

Beyond basic EQ, the OR60 offers detailed power amp shaping through a Bright switch and dedicated Presence and Resonance controls. The Bright switch adds clarity and attack, while Presence and Resonance fine-tune high-end bite and low-end punch at the power amp stage. A negative feedback loop helps keep aggressive tones controlled, ensuring articulation and balance even at higher gain levels.

Valve HT Switching, Buffered FX Loop and Road-Ready Construction

A valve HT switch allows the OR60 to operate at full 60W or half power, making it easy to adapt the amp to different venues and volume requirements while retaining touch sensitivity and definition. A valve-buffered effects loop keeps time-based effects clear and consistent whether the amp is running clean or driven hard. Built in the U.K. with a rugged steel chassis, the OR60 is designed to handle regular transport and stage use. For guitarists who rely on dynamics, pedals and responsive valve tone, the Orange OR60 delivers the muscle, control and reliability needed for consistent performance night after night.
