Suhr PT15 15W Tube Guitar Amp Head Black

Description

The Suhr PT15 tube guitar amplifier head packs commanding tone into a compact package. Designed for discerning guitarists, this 15W amp delivers a versatile range of sounds through its dual-channel preamp and a variety of onboard EQ controls. Experience rich harmonics and warmth from the two 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL84 power amp tubes. With reverb, effects loop and DI out, you have everything needed for studio and stage.

Dual Channels Provide a Spectrum of Tones

The PT15’s two footswitchable channels, clean and overdrive, offer a wide tonal palette. In Clean mode, you’ll enjoy crisp articulation and sparkling highs. Switch to Overdrive for smooth sustain and pleasing breakup. Adjust each channel’s dedicated Gain, Treble, Middle and Bass controls to shape your tone. From jangly cleans to aggressive distortion, this amp serves up an array of usable sounds for any genre.

All-Tube Design Delivers Signature Tone

The PT15 owes its exceptional tone to an all-tube design. Two 12AX7 preamp tubes provide gain and overdrive, while a pair of EL84 power tubes generate 15 watts of volume. This Class A tube circuitry delivers harmonically rich sound with depth and dimension. From warm cleans to searing leads, the PT15 responds dynamically to your playing style and guitar’s controls. All-tube construction also means this amp will only improve with age as the tubes break in.

Essential Features for Practice, Recording and Gigging

Despite its compact size, the PT15 includes useful features for a variety of applications. Reverb adds ambiance to your tone. The effects loop facilitates use of outboard gear. A DI out sends your amp’s signal to a mixing console for recording or live playing. With a headphone jack, you can practice silently. For onstage use, the footswitch lets you toggle between channels. Weighing only 22 pounds, the PT15 is easy to transport wherever your music takes you.
