NordstrandTM Big Break Pickups Deliver Power and Nuance

The SR1420B is equipped with NordstrandTM “Big Break” pickups that pack the punch of split coils into a soapbar footprint, yielding a vigorous, muscular tone with the definition of single coils. These pickups capture the nuances in your technique and style, from gentle harmonics to aggressive slapping. They offer a noiseless performance, letting the natural tone of the SR1420B’s premium tone woods shine through.

Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-Band EQ Provides Precision Control

Shape your tone with the intuitive Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ. The boost and cut controls for the midrange band are centered at different frequencies, delivering a range of the most useful bass tones at the turn of a knob. An EQ bypass switch lets you choose between the active EQ circuit and a passive tone control on the treble pot. When in passive mode, the treble knob acts as a global tone control. The 3-way mid switch selects between 250 Hz, 450 Hz and 700 Hz.
