Spector Euro 5 LX 5 String Electric Bass Black Stain Matte

Description

The Spector Euro 5 LX bass gives you legendary Spector tone and playability in an affordable package. This professional-grade bass features a classic alder body with a European flamed maple top and bolt-on 3-piece North American maple neck for punchy low end and crisp highs. The Euro 4 LX is built to the same high standards that have made Spector a favorite of renowned bassists worldwide.

Iconic Tonewoods and Bolt-On Construction

The Euro 5 LX starts with a resonant tonewood combination of European alder and maple that provides balanced tone with rich sustain. The maple neck is securely bolted to the body, allowing the woods to vibrate freely and giving you comfortable access to the highest frets. The rosewood fingerboard adds warmth while providing a smooth playing surface. Together, these premium tonewoods produce the musical lows, present mids and singing highs that Spector basses are renowned for.

EMG Active Pickups and Spector Preamp

EMG active pickups convey every nuance of your playing with exceptional clarity and punch. The Spector Legacy preamp, designed with Darkglass Electronics, provides familiar Spector tone-shaping controls. Dial in aggression and growl or back off for a rounder tone. A three-band EQ offers tight control over lows, mids and highs, allowing you to cut through the mix or blend in as needed.

Premium Appointments and Reliable Hardware

The Spector Euro 5 LX features an adjustable lightweight aluminum bridge for accurate intonation, black control knobs and pickup covers for a sleek look. Its durable matte finish in hand-rubbed stains resists scratches and marks. Non-slip strap buttons keep your bass securely in place during even the most energetic performances.
