The roasted maple neck offers effortless playability, while the sterling humbucker captures the famous StingRay snarl. A 3-way rotary switch provides parallel, single-coil and series modes for versatility. With its smooth feel, versatile voice and compact size, the StingRay Short-Scale Bass packs serious thunder in a travel-ready frame.

Play-All-Day Comfort With a Short 30″ Scale

The 30″ scale length of the StingRay Short-Scale bass guitar brings StingRay playability to musicians of all sizes and techniques. The shorter scale length reduces string tension, making it easier on your hands during long gigs or studio sessions. The smooth roasted maple neck and 9.5″ radius fingerboard enable fast, comfortable riffing across the entire 22-fret fingerboard. The contoured nyatoh body nestles nicely against your body, minimizing fatigue. Whether you’re a younger player or one with smaller hands, you’ll appreciate the StingRay Short-Scale’s smooth feel and easy playability.

Iconic Growl From Custom Pickups and Electronics

While comfortable, the StingRay Short-Scale bass guitar retains the iconic aggressive bite StingRay basses are revered for. The sterling humbucker captures growling lows and cutting mids with detail and authority. Switch to single-coil mode for a more open, organic flavor. Run the pickups in series for the classic StingRay punch. A push-push volume boost kicks your sound up a notch when soloing. Paired with the resonant, lightweight nyatoh body, the versatile electronics and custom pickups deliver the StingRay thunder in a smooth, road-ready package.

Convenient Size for Traveling Musicians

The StingRay Short-Scale Bass’s smaller, contoured body and short 30″ scale make it perfect for gigging musicians and touring bands needing portable, hard-hitting bass tone. At just 7.5 lb., it’s lighter than a full-scale StingRay, reducing shoulder and back strain when standing on stage or walking between venues. The smooth neck and narrow 1.5″ nut width reduce hand fatigue when playing multiple sets. Offering iconic StingRay tone in a smoother, more compact design, the StingRay Short-Scale Bass is ideal for working musicians needing thundering bass in a convenient, portable package.
