High-Torque Direct-Drive for Scratching and Mixing

The PLX-500 features a high-torque direct-drive motor that delivers reliable performance for scratching, backspinning, and precise mixing. This motor ensures consistent rotation speed, maintaining the integrity of your vinyl playback during demanding performances. The turntable’s sturdy construction minimizes vibrations and external interference, allowing DJs to focus fully on their craft. With this advanced motor system, the PLX-500 supports fluid transitions and confident vinyl manipulation, ideal for both live shows and studio work.

Built-In USB Connectivity for Digital Recording

Digitize your vinyl collection with ease using the PLX-500’s USB output. Simply connect the turntable to your computer and use Pioneer’s free rekordbox software to create high-quality WAV recordings. The software automatically detects track silences, saving individual files for each song while preserving audio fidelity. Once digitized, your music can be played on rekordbox systems, DDJ controllers or mobile devices, ensuring your favorite records are accessible wherever you go.

Elliptical Stylus for Superior Groove Holding

The Ortofon Concorde Club cartridge enhances playback quality with its elliptical stylus tip, which provides superior tracking in the record grooves. DJs benefit from its increased output voltage and 20Hz?20kHz frequency response, delivering crisp highs, tight mids and deep lows. The stylus design ensures stability during intense performances, while the larger cutout improves visibility for precise cueing in low-light environments. Whether mixing or sampling, this cartridge ensures optimal sound fidelity and reliability.

Dust Cover With Integrated Record Sleeve Stand

The PLX-500’s dust cover goes beyond basic protection, incorporating a built-in stand for displaying record sleeves. This feature lets you showcase album artwork while enjoying the sound of your vinyl, adding a personalized aesthetic to your setup.
