Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12 Professional Digital/Analog Turntable Pair with Ortofon Concorde Mix Cartridge Twin Pack

Description

The Pioneer DJ PLX-CRSS12 professional digital/analog turntable pair represents a revolutionary leap in DJ technology. As the first turntable to combine direct DVS control for digital playback with traditional analog functionality, it caters to artists who demand versatility without compromise. Designed for use with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox, these decks eliminate needle skipping during digital playback, allowing DJs to scratch with precision and confidence. The Magvel clamp and adjustable torque settings provide customizable tactile control, while the OLED display and MIDI-mappable performance pads enhance creativity. Paired with the Ortofon Concorde Mix cartridge twin pack, this bundle offers unparalleled sound quality, reliability, and adaptability for both vinyl and DVS users.

Advanced Hybrid Design

The PLX-CRSS12 merges analog and digital control, enabling DJs to scratch and mix with records or digital tracks effortlessly. In DVS mode, the tone-arm-free playback eliminates needle skipping, even during vigorous scratching. Switching to analog mode allows the use of the universal S-shaped tone arm for traditional vinyl playback. This dual-mode functionality ensures uninterrupted performance, whether you’re using physical records or controlling digital music libraries. With this innovative hybrid design, DJs can explore new creative possibilities while maintaining the tactile feel of vinyl.

Customizable Performance With Magvel Clamp

The included Magvel clamp gives DJs the ability to adjust the “weight” of the record’s feel, simulating lighter or heavier vinyl textures. Coupled with torque adjustment settings and three deck-stopping speeds, this turntable adapts to individual preferences for fluid scratching and mixing. The Magvel clamp enhances tactile feedback, giving artists greater control over their techniques and styles. This customization ensures every performance feels intuitive and tailored to the DJ’s touch.

Enhanced Creativity With MIDI Pads

Four MIDI-mappable performance pads provide real-time control over effects, loops and samples, streamlining creative mixing. Positioned for easy access during battle-style layouts, these pads help DJs incorporate dynamic elements into their sets. The OLED display offers clear visibility of playback information, including BPM, track positions and settings, keeping DJs informed without breaking focus. Together, these features make the PLX-CRSS12 ideal for performances that demand precision and creativity.

Unmatched Sound Quality With Concorde Mix Cartridges

The Ortofon Concorde Mix cartridges included in this bundle feature spherical styli for excellent tracking and minimal wear, preserving vinyl records while delivering outstanding audio fidelity. Redesigned with larger cut-outs and textured grips, these cartridges ensure precise needle placement in low-light environments. Fully compatible with digital vinyl systems like Serato and Traktor, the Concorde Mix provides DJs with reliable performance and exceptional sound quality, whether mixing analog or digital tracks.
