PDP’s Concept Series 6-piece maple shell pack combines the resonant tone of maple with high-end features at an accessible price. Designed with input from DW’s Custom Shop, these drums are built to exacting standards and ready to handle any musical situation. The 100% maple shells provide the warm, rich sound that has made maple famous. The 22×18″ kick, along with 10×8″ and 12×9″ toms, generate punchy lows and clear mids. Two floor toms, 14×12″ and 16×14″, provide extra versatility. The 5.5×14″ snare cuts through with a crisp attack.
Maple Shells Engineered for Superior Tone
At the heart of the Concept Series are 100% maple shells, renowned for their ability to produce round, resonant notes with rich sustain. Seven plies thick for the toms and kick and ten plies for the snare, these shells are carefully crafted to DW’s exacting standards.
