Description

The Breedlove Premier Redwood-Brazilian Rosewood Thinline limited-edition concert acoustic-electric guitar bridges the old and the new, pairing the complex warmth of all-solid redwood and Brazilian rosewood with modern innovations. Thinner and more comfortable than traditional concert models, its hand-voiced build optimizes the guitar’s naturally robust and balanced tone. The slim neck profile enables easy playability even for smaller hands. And the L.R. Baggs Element pickup system lets you shape your amplified tone with precision. Don’t miss your chance to own this expertly crafted thinline concert acoustic-electric.

Warm and Balanced Redwood and Brazilian Rosewood Tone

This concert acoustic-electric combines two exquisite tonewoods for a beautifully complex and musical voice. The mineralized buckskin redwood top lends warmth and richness to each note. And the figured Brazilian rosewood back and sides provide depth and crispness to the overall timbre. Together these all-solid woods create a balanced and nuanced tone, with clear note articulation across the tonal spectrum. The body’s sound-optimized X bracing allows the redwood and rosewood to resonate freely, further enhancing the guitar’s singing sustain.

Thinline Body for Comfort and Easy Playability

Unlike traditional concert guitars, this model features a thinline body that trims away bulk while retaining the Breedlove sound you expect. The reduced body depth significantly improves playing comfort, whether seated or standing. The contoured edges and tapered perimeter create an organically sculpted shape that fits your body. These ergonomic contours combined with the thinline design make this an exceptionally comfortable guitar to play. The soft cutaway gives easy access to the full 20-fret fingerboard for soling beyond the 10th fret.

Hand-Voiced Construction Optimizes Tone

Every Breedlove Premier Series guitar undergoes a proprietary hand-voicing process to optimize its tonal character. Master luthiers carefully tap and listen across the top, back and sides, then meticulously shave away wood until the desired voice emerges. This hand-voicing targets specific frequencies to maximize the guitar’s responsiveness, clarity and sustain. It allows the luthier to tune the redwood top and rosewood back to each other, producing superior tone and singing overtones.

Slim Neck Profile Great for Smaller Hands

The guitar’s Honduran mahogany neck has a slimmer profile more comfortable for players with smaller hands. Its slim C shape and manageable 1.875″ nut width reduce stretching. The smooth stained semi-gloss neck finish increases speed and facilitates intricate fretting. The hand-rubbed finish process alone takes three days to complete. Combined with its 25.5″ scale length, the neck’s slim profile makes this concert acoustic-electric very easy and inviting to play.

L.R. Baggs Element Pickup System for Amplified Tone Control

An L.R. Baggs Element pickup system lets you amplify your sound with complete tonal control. Its mix of undersaddle piezo pickup and soundboard transducer captures the guitar’s authentic voicing. The volume and tone controls are conveniently mounted inside the soundhole for quick adjustments on the fly. Roll off the highs to tame the piezo attack. Or dial in more body resonance to fill out the sound. The Element’s flexible EQ shaping and crystal-clear amplified tone let your beautiful redwood and rosewood voice be heard.
