Cordoba C5-CE SP Classical Acoustic-Electric Guitar – Natural

Description

The C5-CE SP is a revolutionary nylon-string acoustic-electric guitar from C?rdoba. Featuring a solid Englemann spruce top and mahogany back and sides, the C5-CE SP produces a warm yet balanced tone with impressive projection. The onboard Fishman Presys II preamp gives players full control over their amplified tone, allowing the C5-CE SP to shine on stage. A soft cutaway provides comfortable access to the upper frets for soloing, while traditional Spanish-style appointments like the carved headstock, wood rosette and glossy finish give the C5-CE SP an upscale, handcrafted feel.

Solid Spruce Top Radiates Clear, Powerful Tone

The C5-CE SP’s solid Englemann spruce top is the foundation for its robust, resonant tone. Spruce is a lightweight, responsive wood that produces a wide range of overtones, resulting in a tone that is both complex and balanced. Strummed arpeggios ring out with bell-like clarity, while single notes are warm and full. The spruce top gives the C5-CE SP a voice suited for any style, from brisk picados to lyrical melodies.

Fishman Presys II Preamp Provides Studio-Quality Plugged-In Tone

Thanks to the Fishman Presys II preamp, the C5-CE SP delivers outstanding amplified tone for both live performance and recording. The Presys II preamp picks up the natural nuances of the spruce top and mahogany body and provides control over EQ, volume and tone. Roll off the highs for a mellow jazz sound or boost the mids for crisp fingerstyle. An onboard tuner ensures you’re always in tune, even on a dark stage. For nylon-string players seeking a professional-grade acoustic-electric, the C5-CE SP is an exceptional choice.

Lightweight Mahogany Body Resonates Effortlessly

The C5-CE SP’s mahogany back and sides are lightweight yet rigid, providing an ideal tonal complement to the resonant spruce top. Mahogany produces a focused midrange and controlled bass response, enhancing the spruce top’s complex overtones with subtle warmth and depth. Whether practicing at home or performing all night, you’ll find the C5-CE SP an inspiring instrument.

Traditional Spanish Appointments and Playability

From the carved headstock to the wood rosette and Savarez strings, the C5-CE SP is built in the tradition of classical Spanish luthiery. Indian rosewood binding accents the body, highlighting the woods beneath. The mahogany neck has a comfortable C profile, with a 12-fret joint for balanced tension. And the pau ferro fingerboard is smooth and responsive. With premium components and timeless esthetics, the C5-CE SP delivers an experience no digital effects can match.
