Powered by Epiphone’s Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers, the ES-335 can achieve a variety of vintage-inspired sounds from clean and jazzy to hard rock. Its rounded C-shaped neck and 12″ radius laurel fingerboard allow for comfortable chording and soloing. Now guitarists everywhere can experience the legendary semi-hollowbody tone that shaped music history.

Alnico Classic PRO Humbuckers Deliver Iconic Tone

At the heart of the ES-335’s sound are Epiphone’s Alnico Classic PRO humbucking pickups. These pickups provide a wide range of vintage humbucker tones from warm and mellow to aggressive rock. With individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, you have full control over their sound. From jazz and blues to classic rock, the ES-335 can achieve any iconic semi-hollowbody tone.

Layered Maple Construction Creates Resonant Sound

Like the original ES-335, this Epiphone model features a layered maple top, back and sides along with a solid maple tone block. This construction gives the ES-335 a resonant, harmonically rich tone with piano-like sustain. The tone block also helps reduce feedback at high volumes, allowing guitarists to achieve semi-hollowbody tone for rock and roll. With eye-catching single-ply body and fingerboard binding, the ES-335 looks as good as it sounds.

Rounded Neck Profile and 12″ Radius Laurel Fingerboard

The ES-335’s rounded C neck profile and 12″ radius laurel fingerboard provide a comfortable playing experience whether chording, soloing or bending strings. The fingerboard’s moderate radius and medium jumbo frets make it easy to fret notes and chords. This combination of neck shape and fingerboard radius means the ES-335 will appeal to guitarists of all playing styles from rhythm to lead.

Classic Semi-Hollowbody Style

With its iconic double cutaway semi-hollowbody shape, the ES-335 epitomizes the style of 1950s and ’60s rock and roll. Its arched top and f-holes give it a refined yet rebellious look. Other stylish touches include a Kalamazoo-style headstock, crown headstock inlay and dot fingerboard inlays. For guitarists seeking a bold yet traditional tone and style, the Epiphone ES-335 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar Cherry delivers.
