Mahogany Body and Set-Thru Construction for Warmth and Sustain

The LTD EC-1000?s mahogany body provides a thick, warm tonal foundation with strong midrange presence and natural sustain, making it ideal for both rhythm and lead work. Set-thru construction enhances resonance while allowing smooth, unhindered access to the highest frets, a key advantage for extended solos and technical passages. This design balances the classic feel of a traditional single-cut with the performance benefits modern players expect, delivering a rich, singing response that remains focused and articulate under high-gain conditions.

Three-Piece Mahogany Neck and Macassar Ebony Fingerboard for Speed and Precision

A thin U-shaped, three-piece mahogany neck offers exceptional stability and a fast, comfortable feel that supports long sessions and demanding techniques. The Macassar ebony fingerboard adds snap and clarity to the guitar?s voice while providing a smooth playing surface for intricate runs and expressive bends. Outfitted with 24 extra-jumbo stainless-steel frets, the EC-1000 delivers effortless string bending, precise intonation and long-lasting fret life. Together, the neck and fingerboard form a responsive, high-performance platform built for accuracy and control.

Fishman Fluence Modern Pickups With Multi-Voice Versatility

At the core of the EC-1000 is a set of Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, featuring an Alnico Gold pickup in the neck and a Ceramic Gold pickup in the bridge. This pairing delivers a wide tonal range, from smooth, articulate cleans and fluid lead tones to tight, aggressive rhythms with focused low end and cutting attack. Fluence technology provides consistent, noise-free performance with enhanced clarity and note separation, while push/pull controls allow players to access multiple voicings for added flexibility. Whether dialing in expressive clean passages or high-gain precision, this pickup set offers the dynamic response and tonal control required for both studio work and live performance.

Locking Hardware for Rock-Solid Performance

Premium hardware ensures the EC-1000 performs with consistency and confidence. A TonePros locking Tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece maximize sustain while keeping intonation stable under aggressive playing. LTD locking tuners allow for quick string changes and minimize tuning slippage, maintaining accuracy through long sets and heavy use. This dependable hardware setup supports the guitar?s high-output electronics and resonant construction, making it a reliable choice for touring, recording and daily practice.
