The ceramic bridge pickup produces tight chunky rhythm tones as well as blistering leads. The alnico neck pickup delivers rounded lows with excellent note separation. Reach New Lows With a 27.7″ Baritone Scale

The SN-1000 baritone’s extended 27″ scale length lets you plunge into the bottom octave while retaining the playability of a standard electric guitar. Compared to a bass guitar, it has tighter string tension that makes it easier to dig into the strings for complex riffing and shredding. The long scale accentuates the differences between string gages, giving you clearly defined wound and plain strings. Tune it down to B or A and you’ll have thunderous low-end punch without losing articulation. Or try an open tuning for massive power chords. However you use it, the SN-1000 Baritone’s low B string will add a new dimension to your playing.

Roasted Maple and Purpleheart Neck Provides Stability

The SN-1000 Baritone has a thin U-shaped neck made from roasted maple and purpleheart. The five-piece roasted maple construction ensures rigidity for stable tuning, while the purpleheart center strip adds striking visual flair. Roasted maple has enhanced stability compared to regular maple, ideal for the baritone scale length. The U-shaped profile offers substance without being too bulky. Combined with the smooth Macassar ebony fingerboard, it’s a pleasure to quickly move around the 27.7″ scale. The neck joint uses ESP’s secure bolt-on construction for reliable tuning stability, backed up with locking tuners.

Ebony Fingerboard Enhances Speed

Designed for high performance playing, the Macassar ebony fingerboard has a compound radius that flattens out as you move up the neck. The 12″ radius at the nut facilitates intricate chords and complex voicings. By the time you reach the 16″ radius at the body end, you can rip through lightning fast solos with ease. The extra jumbo stainless steel frets further enhance speed by providing a smooth surface for bends and slides. The scalloped section from frets 17?24 lets you apply vibrato effects with minimal effort. With its slick feel and jumbo frets, the SN-1000 Baritone’s fingerboard is built for guitarists who demand high velocity playing across the extended baritone range.
