With an EVH-branded Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo bridge, you can execute extreme whammy techniques while staying in tune. Thoughtfully contoured with a “comfort cut” forearm contour, the Wolfgang WG Standard Exotic Zebrawood gives you maximum playing ease.

Distinctive Zebrawood Top Over Basswood Body

Show off your distinguished tastes with the gorgeous zebrawood top on the Wolfgang WG Standard Exotic. The striking black and brown stripes make this guitar really stand out from the crowd. It’s paired with a basswood body that provides a balanced tone across the frequency spectrum, with tight lows and singing highs. The basswood soaks up the overdrive beautifully while retaining note articulation. Together with the carved top, the chambered body resonates freely with sustain.

Speed and Comfort With a Baked Maple Neck and Fingerboard

The Wolfgang’s bolt-on baked maple neck remains stable even in fluctuating weather conditions, thanks to built-in graphite reinforcement rods. Its oiled back finish lets your hand glide smoothly up and down the neck during fast soloing or intricate chords. You’ll fly across the compound radius baked maple fingerboard, which flattens out as you move up the neck for easy bends and solos in the upper register. Jumbo frets give you a positive feel while you play.

Massive Tone With Direct Mounted EVH Humbuckers

This ax wields a pair of direct mounted EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickups for the saturated, high-gain tone Van Halen is known for. Mounting the pickups right into the basswood body increases vibration transfer for singing sustain that just won’t quit. Dial in your tone with the two black knurled control knobs optimized to Eddie’s exacting specs. The 500k pots retain crisp highs even at extreme saturation levels.

Built to Handle Dives and Whinnies

The EVH-branded Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge keeps the Wolfgang WG Standard Exotic in tune through even the most intense whammy techniques. Execute screaming dives, horse whinnies and radical tremolo flutters while staying perfectly in tune. The locking nut also helps tuning stability. Black chrome hardware gives this guitar a sleek, modern look. Play in comfort with the ergonomic forearm contour and sculpted cutaways that provide effortless access to the highest frets.
