Description

The Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster takes a legendary design to new heights. Fender’s flagship Jazzmaster model now features proprietary V-Mod II Jazzmaster single-coil pickups for articulate tone with beautifully musical highs, mids and lows. The bridge pickup includes a push-push switch to toggle between a powerful, throaty tone and a vintage-style sound. Guitar Center is thrilled to introduce the American Pro II Jazzmaster, now with a sculpted neck heel, rolled fretboard edges and a satin-smooth “SuperNatural” neck finish for effortless playability across 22 narrow tall frets.

New V-Mod II Jazzmaster Pickups Provide Clarity and Nuance

Fender’s V-Mod II Jazzmaster pickups represent the pinnacle of Jazzmaster tone. Each pickup’s pole pieces are precisely calibrated to match the frequency response of the strings above. The result is a balanced, articulate tone with superior clarity and just the right amount of growl. The bridge pickup’s tap mode provides additional tonal flexibility, allowing you to switch between a throaty, powerful tone and a traditional Jazzmaster sound with a simple push of a button.

Redesigned Neck Sculpting and Rolled Edges For Comfort

The American Professional II Jazzmaster’s satin neck finish provides a smooth, natural feel under your fingers. Combined with a sculpted neck heel and rolled fretboard edges, the neck design ensures effortless playability across all 22 narrow tall frets. Whether practicing intricate chord progressions or wailing away during an extended jam session, your hands will slide up and down the neck with ease thanks to these ergonomic enhancements.

Panorama Tremolo For Expressive Pitch-Bending Effects

The American Pro II Jazzmaster features an innovative Panorama tremolo system that provides a dramatically increased range of motion compared to a traditional Jazzmaster tremolo. With the ability to dive deep like a Stratocaster tremolo, the Panorama system allows for highly expressive pitch-bending effects. A pop-in tremolo arm allows quick installation and removal of the tremolo arm during performances and transport.

Premium Appointments and Included Deluxe Case

As Fender’s flagship Jazzmaster model, the American Professional II Jazzmaster includes premium appointments like an alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. A bone nut and narrow tall frets provide exceptional sustain and comfortable string bending. Each guitar includes a deluxe molded case for protected transport between performances and recording sessions.
