Laminated Maple Construction With Relic’d Desert Sand Finish

The Custom Shop G6136CS 55 Falcon boasts a laminated maple body paired with a matching laminated maple top. This all-maple construction gives the guitar a bright, balanced tone and dynamic projection. The meticulously relic’d Desert Sand lacquer finish recreates the worn-in aesthetic of a seasoned road warrior, complete with subtle checking and patina. The Falcon’s chambered hollow body design enhances resonance while reducing weight, offering a lively, open sound with a deep low end and clear top-end sparkle. It’s a body that doesn’t just look the part?it sounds it, too, delivering classic Gretsch warmth and bite with every note. Whether you’re playing rockabilly riffs, country twang or smooth jazz lines, this Falcon responds with vintage-inspired clarity and style.

Maple Neck With a Smooth, Broken-In Feel

The set-in maple neck ensures rock-solid stability, while its smooth nitro lacquer finish gives it a fast, broken-in feel. Topped with an ebony fingerboard, the G6136CS plays effortlessly, offering a warm, articulate response that complements the body’s resonant tone. Vintage-style frets provide an authentic playing experience, while the striking hump block inlays complete the guitar’s unmistakable Falcon look. With a comfortable 24.6″ scale length and a precisely cut bone nut, you’ll find that bending, chording and fleet-fingered lead runs all feel fluid and natural. From jazzy chord melodies to searing solos, this neck is designed for players who value both performance and style?a true player’s dream.

Seymour Duncan DynaSonic Pickups for Classic Gretsch Tone

Equipped with a pair of Seymour Duncan DynaSonic pickups, the Custom Shop G6136CS 55 Falcon delivers the raw, articulate voice that defined early Gretsch tones. The bridge pickup punches with tight lows, crisp highs and just the right amount of bite? prfect for rockabilly rhythms or bluesy leads. The neck pickup offers a warmer, more rounded tone with enough clarity to cut through any mix. Together, they cover everything from bright country twang to smooth, mellow jazz. With independent volume controls for each pickup, a master volume and master tone, you can fine-tune your sound on the fly?whether you’re chasing that vintage sparkle or dialing in a modern edge.

Iconic Cadillac Tailpiece and Premium Hardware

No Falcon would be complete without iconic premium hardware, and this Gretsch Custom Shop build delivers. The Synchro-Sonic bridge ensures precise intonation, while the Cadillac tailpiece brings unmistakable Gretsch style and added sustain. Nickel/chrome hardware complements the aged Desert Sand finish, balancing relic’d charm with premium durability. Gold accents, from the pickguard to the jeweled control knobs, create a striking visual contrast?a nod to the opulent aesthetic that made the Falcon famous. Grover Imperial tuners round it all out, providing rock-solid tuning stability, even during expressive bends and Bigsby-style vibrato play. It’s a guitar that sounds as stunning as it looks?built to inspire and endure.
