Ibanez JBBM40 JB Brubaker Signature Electric Guitar – Pearl White

Description

If you?ve heard August Burns Red lock into a crushing groove and never let it drift, you?ve heard JB Brubaker at work. His playing is defined by tight rhythm, controlled aggression, and clarity under extreme gain?and the Ibanez JBBM40 JB Brubaker Signature electric guitar is designed to deliver exactly that. Built around a solid okoume body and a bolt-on three-piece maple and bubinga neck, this model provides a focused low end and sharp articulation that holds together in down-tuned modern metal. A 25.5″ scale length, fast ebony fingerboard, and active EMG pickups make the JBBM40 a purpose-built instrument for players who need consistency, precision, and reliability on stage or in the studio.

Active EMG Pickups for Tight, High-Gain Definition

The JBBM40 is powered by an EMG 81 humbucker in the bridge and an EMG 85 in the neck, a proven combination for modern metal. The bridge pickup delivers sharp attack and controlled low end for palm-muted riffs and fast rhythm work, while the neck pickup offers smoother sustain and clarity for leads and melodic passages. This setup keeps notes defined in dense mixes and responds predictably under high gain.

Fast Neck Feel Built for Technical Rhythm Playing

A three-piece maple and bubinga bolt-on neck adds strength and stability while maintaining a smooth, fast feel. The thin satin finish reduces friction during long sessions, and the ebony fingerboard provides a clean, responsive surface that resists wear. With 24 jumbo frets and a 400 mm radius, the neck supports rapid position changes, precise bends, and consistent articulation across the full range.

Simple, Practical Controls That Stay Out of the Way

The control layout is intentionally straightforward, with a single volume control, single tone control, and a 3-way lever switch. This setup makes it easy to move between pickup positions and fine-tune output quickly, without overcomplicating the signal path. The result is a direct, predictable response that suits live performance and focused recording sessions.

Stable Hardware for Demanding Performance

Gotoh MG-T locking tuners improve tuning stability and speed up string changes, while the Gibraltar Standard III bridge provides solid intonation and dependable string transfer. The gloss polyurethane finish on the okoume body adds durability for touring and regular use. Together, these components are chosen to handle aggressive playing styles with minimal maintenance.

A Signature Guitar Designed Around Precision and Control

Available in a distinguished Pearl White finish, the Ibanez JBBM40 JB Brubaker Signature electric guitar is built for players who prioritize tight rhythm, controlled low end, and technical accuracy. From its active EMG pickup set to its reinforced neck and reliable hardware, every element supports disciplined, high-gain performance. For guitarists working in down-tuned, rhythm-driven styles, the JBBM40 delivers the clarity and consistency needed to stay locked in, song after song.
