Description
The Ibanez RGD71ALMS Axion Label Multi-Scale 7-string electric guitar is a revolutionary instrument built for progressive metal players, and any guitarist looking to push creative boundaries. Featuring a 27″?25.5″ multi-scale design, active Fishman Fluence pickups, and an ultrafast Nitro Wizard neck, the Axion Label Multi-Scale delivers an intense tone with extended range and enhanced playability.
Multi-Scale Neck Provides Optimal String Tension
The Axion Label Multi-Scale’s graduated, multi-scale fretboard provides calibrated string tension for each string resulting in superior intonation and articulation. The longer 27″ scale on the bass strings produces tight, focused low end, while the 25.5″ scale on the treble strings allows for comfortable bending and fretting. This innovative design makes 7-string playing feel natural and inspiring.
Fishman Fluence Pickups Provide Aggressive Tone
The Axion Label Multi-Scale features a pair of active Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups that provide an aggressive, powerful tone without excess noise. The Ceramic bridge pickup delivers tight, punchy attack, while the neck pickup produces warm, rich sustain. A push-pull Voice switch on the master volume control lets you choose from two distinct voicings for each pickup.
Fast, Ultrathin Nitro Wizard Neck
The Axion Label Multi-Scale’s Nitro Wizard 5-piece panga panga/walnut neck is designed for high-speed playing with a thin profile and flat, 12″?16″ compound radius. Jumbo frets, a Macassar ebony fretboard, and offset dot inlays complete the premium appointments on this performance-focused neck.
Premium Components and Styling
From the Gotoh locking tuners and Mono-rail bridge to the luminescent side dots and Ibanez logo, every detail of the Axion Label Multi-Scale is optimized for functionality and modern metal style. With a lightweight nyato body, slanted frets and deep cutaways for upper-fret access, this guitar is built to inspire technical mastery.
