Premium Construction and Resonant Tonewoods

As part of Ibanez’s Premium series, the Tim Henson Signature is crafted with select tonewoods and high-end components for an unparalleled playing experience. The basswood body delivers a balanced tone with tight lows and sparkling highs. Combined with a roasted maple neck, you get a quick attack, rich sustain and excellent clarity. The ebony fingerboard provides a smooth feel under your fingers, while jumbo stainless steel frets offer effortless playability for complex chords and single-note runs.

Signature Pickups Span a Spectrum of Tones

Codesigned with Tim Henson, the Fishman Fluence Tim Henson signature pickups provide a range of tones ideal for progressive music. The neck pickup offers three distinct voices: a thick humbucker, a hyper-clean single-coil and Tim’s fluid neck single-coil tone. The bridge pickup also provides three voices, including a hot-rodded humbucker, Tim’s favorite bridge humbucker and his ideal single-coil bridge tone. A push-pull tone knob lets you instantly switch between voices for dynamic tone shaping on the fly.

Progressive Aesthetics and Playability

Visually, the Tim Henson Signature makes a bold statement with its Tree of Death fingerboard inlay, a twist on Ibanez’s iconic Tree of Life. Luminescent side dots also provide visibility on dark stages. For tuning stability, Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads keep your strings locked in place. The Gotoh T1502 tremolo bridge also offers improved articulation and a quick response for fluid lead work. Combined with its thin, fast Nitro Wizard neck, the Tim Henson Signature offers a playing experience tailored to progressive metal styles.

For the modern progressive guitarist, the Ibanez Tim Henson Signature electric guitar provides flawless construction, resonant tone and a wealth of tonal options. Codesigned with Tim Henson, this signature model lets you channel Polyphia’s genre-bending lead tones through premium components selected for clarity and playability.
