Jackson American Series Soloist SL2MG HT Electric Guitar – Matte Army Drab

Jackson embraces the needs of virtuosic players with its American Series Soloist SL2MG HT shred machine, taking the brand?s high-velocity legacy to new heights. Built in Corona, California, and boasting performance-oriented design, this premium instrument provides exceptional stability, sustain and style ideal for modern metal guitarists. The Soloist SL2MG HT?s naturally heavy tones are perfect for aggressive rhythms and leads, while its deeply contoured body and specialized neck profile encourage stupefying fretboard antics. With the Jackson American Series Soloist SL2MG HT, you can experience high-octane speed, cutting-edge quality and iconic metal attitude.

Neck-Thru Body for Unparalleled Stability and Sustain

The American Series Soloist SL2MG HT by Jackson is built around a neck-thru design with a solid three-piece maple core running from headstock to strap button. This continuous wood build, completed by an alder body, provides exceptional stability, and enhances string vibration and sustain by allowing the guitar to resonate as one piece. You?ll notice notes bloom with added richness and nuance compared to bolt-on alternatives, which offer a more immediate attack and decay. For metal guitarists, neck-thru traits translate to better tuning stability and power for low chugs, longer-ringing lead lines and more full-bodied chord voicings.

EMG Humbuckers Conjure Tight, Modern Metal Tones

The secret to the SL2MG HT?s brutal high-gain muscle lies in its EMG 81/85 pickup set. These active humbuckers feature powerful ceramic magnets and a wide frequency response that deliver commanding crunch and scorching leads. The EMG 81 in the bridge cranks out tight lows and aggressive mids perfect for chugging rhythms, and the EMG 85 at the neck provides rich warmth and singing highs for soaring solos. With more output and clarity than passive pickups, these iconic EMGs equip the Soloist SL2MG HT with slicing, contemporary metal tone.
