Martin 000-15SM Auditorium All-Mahogany Acoustic Guitar Natural

Description

The Martin 000-15SM Auditorium all-mahogany acoustic harkens back to an earlier era with its 12-fret body and slotted headstock. Despite its small size, the 000-15SM produces a robust, woody tone thanks to its solid mahogany top, back and sides. The mahogany construction also gives this guitar a warm, balanced sound with clear, ringing highs and midrange.

Resonant All-Mahogany Body

The all-mahogany body is the foundation for the 000-15SM’s rich tone and vintage appeal. Mahogany is a dense, durable wood that helps produce a focused, balanced acoustic sound with pronounced mids and highs. The solid mahogany top, in particular, contributes to the guitar’s volume and resonance. Combined with the compact 12-fret body, the all-mahogany construction gives this Auditorium acoustic a surprisingly bold voice.

Stylish Morado Fingerboard and Bridge

While the 000-15SM features an all-mahogany body, its morado fingerboard and bridge provide an attractive visual contrast. Morado is a tropical hardwood with an reddish-brown hue and tight grain that pairs well with the warm tones of mahogany. The morado fingerboard is smooth and fast, ideal for intricate fingerpicking styles. Its 1.75″ nut width also makes it comfortable for players with smaller hands.

Premium Appointments for Precise Tuning

Nickel tuners with butterbean knobs give the 000-15SM excellent tuning stability. The butterbean knobs are recessed into the slotted headstock for a low-profile look, while the nickel tuners provide a vintage-inspired esthetic. With 14:1 gear ratio, the nickel tuners allow for quick, accurate tuning adjustments. Combined with a dovetail neck joint and mortise and tenon body construction, the premium tuners demonstrate Martin’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Protective Softshell Case Included

Martin includes a softshell case with the purchase of the 000-15SM Auditorium acoustic guitar. The softshell case helps shield the guitar from dings, dents and scratches during transport and storage. Its lightweight, durable design makes the case easy to carry while still providing essential protection for your investment.
