The 000-28EC showcases elegant appointments like herringbone marquetry, abalone pearl inlays in a diamonds-and-squares pattern and nickel open-geared tuners with butterbean knobs. An interior label bears the signature of Eric Clapton and the serial number, certifying this guitar’s prestige. For discerning players seeking a bold yet refined instrument, the Martin 000-28 Eric Clapton Signature Model is unmatched.

Vintage Style and Premium Materials Define the Tone

The 000-28EC blends vintage aesthetics with modern playability. Solid East Indian rosewood and spruce have been carefully selected and paired to produce a balanced acoustic tone with rich overtones. The smaller 000 body and short scale cater to articulate, complex sounds. Nickel tuners, compensated bone nut and saddle, and dovetail neck joint ensure stability and sustain.

Custom Appointments Straight From the Legend Himself

Eric Clapton collaborated closely with Martin to design an acoustic that met his discerning standards. Unique features include herringbone marquetry, distinctive Style 28 abalone pearl inlays and Clapton’s signature between the 19th and 20th frets. Each guitar bears an interior label with its serial number and Clapton’s signature, verifying its prestige.

Playability and Portability in One Instrument

The 000-28EC balances the rich, projecting tone of rosewood with the articulate sound of spruce, all within a smaller 000 body for comfort. Its short 24.9″ scale reduces string tension, making complex chords and fingerpicking accessible. It also comes with a Geib-style hardshell case for protection.

For players seeking a bold yet transportable acoustic, the Martin 000-28 Eric Clapton Signature Model is ideal.
