Ebony appointments, like the bridge and fingerboard, add warmth while complementing the koa’s striking figure.

Premium Koa Construction Offers Visual Depth and Sonic Complexity

As an all-solid koa guitar, this OM acoustic generates a multi-dimensional tone with layers of overtones. The koa’s dense, figured grain gives each note a blooming quality. Visually striking, the koa’s flame figure provides mesmerizing depth and iridescence under stage lights. Overall, the koa construction makes this an ideal guitar for recording or performance.

Modified Low Oval Neck Profile Feels Familiar Yet Modern

The satin-finished mahogany neck has a Modified Low Oval profile, a rounded shape that feels substantial yet effortless to play. Its slim taper provides a smooth transition from nut to heel. With 20 frets and a 25.5″ scale length, the neck has a familiar feel for most guitarists. The 1.75″ nut width strikes a balance between vintage and modern specs. Overall, the neck’s ergonomic yet high-performance design keeps your hand fresh through long sets or studio sessions.

Premium Appointments and Plek’d Playability

Ebony, known for its hardness and warmth, is used for the bridge, fingerboard and headplate. Abalone inlays provide an elegant touch along the fingerboard. A faux tortoise pickguard protects the koa top. Grover tuners keep this guitar in tune through dynamic playing styles. The guitar is Plek’d at the Custom Shop for optimal playability. These premium appointments demonstrate the craftsmanship that makes this an heirloom-quality instrument.
