Schecter Guitar Research C-1 FR-S 50th Anniversary Electric Guitar – 50th Gold Burst

Description

Five decades of Schecter Guitar Research innovation culminate in the C-1 FR-S 50th Anniversary electric guitar, a no-compromise instrument built for players who thrive on sonic experimentation. This special-edition C-1 centers on an integrated Sustainiac system, unlocking infinite sustain and harmonic control at any volume, paired with a Sunset Strip Anniversary bridge humbucker for authoritative high-gain punch. A resonant swamp ash body and multi-ply thru-neck provide the rigidity and sustain demanded by modern lead techniques, while a Floyd Rose 1500 Series locking tremolo and 24 stainless steel frets ensure stability under extreme performance conditions. Finished in a striking Gold Burst, the C-1 FR-S 50th Anniversary is designed to remove creative limits and push expressive playing into new territory.

Swamp Ash Body With Carved Top for Power and Articulation

The C-1 FR-S 50th Anniversary features a swamp ash body prized for its lively resonance and balanced tonal response. Tight lows, focused mids and shimmering highs translate clearly across clean and driven sounds, allowing the guitar to react dynamically to both aggressive attack and subtle phrasing. A carved top contour improves comfort without diminishing authority, while black binding along the body and neck frames the Gold Burst finish with a refined, boutique edge.

Maple, Walnut and Padauk Thru-Neck for Sustain and Speed

A multi-ply maple, walnut and padauk thru-neck anchors the C-1 FR-S with exceptional strength and tonal continuity from headstock to body. Schecter?s Ultra Access design removes heel obstruction, providing unrestricted reach to all 24 frets. The ultrathin C neck profile pairs with a 25.5″ scale length and a 12″?16″ compound radius for fast, controlled movement. An ebony fingerboard and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets support effortless bends, consistent intonation and long-term durability.

Sustainiac System and Sunset Strip Pickup for Expansive Sonic Control

The C-1 FR-S 50th Anniversary blends raw power with experimental flexibility through its advanced electronics. The Sunset Strip Anniversary Edition bridge humbucker delivers tight low end, cutting mids and controlled compression suited for high-gain styles. In the neck position, the gold Sustainiac system operates as both an active sustain driver and a true single-coil pickup, allowing seamless transitions between infinite sustain effects and traditional neck tones. Dedicated mini switches enable natural sustain, harmonic modes and blended textures, supporting violin-like swells, controlled feedback and soaring lead lines at any volume.

Floyd Rose and TonePros Hardware for Precision and Stability

Performance-grade hardware ensures the C-1 FR-S 50th Anniversary remains stable under demanding use. A Floyd Rose 1500 locking tremolo provides smooth pitch control while maintaining reliable tuning, paired with a Floyd Rose locking nut. TonePros M-Series locking tuners support fast string changes and precise adjustments, while a two-way truss rod with spoke wheel at the heel allows quick setup refinements. Black and gold hardware reinforces the guitar?s performance-focused design with a cohesive anniversary finish.

A 50th Anniversary C-1 Designed for Unrestricted Expression

The Schecter C-1 FR-S 50th Anniversary model stands as a bold expression of the brand?s 50-year legacy, uniting modern engineering with expansive creative freedom. Resonant tonewoods, fast thru-neck construction and stainless steel frets form a solid foundation, while the Sustainiac system opens a range of textures few instruments can approach. Purpose-built for players who push boundaries, this special-edition C-1 celebrates Schecter Guitar Research?s rich history by expanding what a modern electric guitar can do.
