Description
The Schecter Synyster Gates Custom FR-S Relic electric guitar unlocks the ultimate rock ?n? roll/metal performance experience. This signature model, designed with Avenged Sevenfold’s lead axeman Synyster Gates, gives you the batwings you need for soaring solos and biting riffs. With a Schecter USA Synyster Gates signature humbucking bridge pickup, Sustainiac neck pickup and gorgeously expressive Floyd Rose 1500 series tremolo system, the strength of the world is on your shoulder.
Blazing-Fast Ebony Fingerboard
The ebony fingerboard and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets of the Synyster Gates Custom-S Relic enable fluid playing at breakneck speeds. The ultrasmooth fingerboard and carefully dressed frets allow your fingers to easily glide across the strings, while its 16″ radius gives you an even playing surface along the entire length of the 3-piece mahogany neck for chords and single-note runs.
Power and Sustain With Premium Pickups
The Synyster Gates Custom-S Relic comes equipped with a Schecter USA Synyster Gates bridge humbucker and Sustainiac neck pickup for a blend of output and infinite sustain. The hot bridge pickup delivers a powerful tone that cuts through the mix with authority, while the Sustainiac neck pickup lets your notes ring on until the afterlife. To select your tone, the 3-way pickup switch provides access to each pickup individually, or a combination of both, for a range of tones?from bright and crisp to thick and saturated.
Floyd Rose 1500 Series Tremolo
The Floyd Rose 1500 series tremolo on the Synyster Gates Custom-S Relic allows for radical dive bombs, wailing pinch harmonics and fluttering warbles. The double-locking system clamps the strings at the nut and bridge saddles to provide rock-solid tuning stability even under heavy whammy bar use. Make subtle pitch shifts?or wildly manipulate the pitch and create sounds never before heard from a guitar.
Relic Finish for a Vintage Vibe
The Synyster Gates Custom-S Relic features a mahogany body with a relic finish that gives the appearance of a well-worn guitar with nicks, scratches and worn areas. Gates? aesthetic of choice, this relic touch provides a road-worn look and feel, as if the guitar has been toured with for years. Overall, the relic finish complements the striking tonal character of this signature Schecter, serving up an irresistible vintage vibe.
Whether you aspire to reach the skill level of Synyster Gates himself or you’re already an accomplished guitarist, this is an instrument worthy of your talent. Experience fast, fluid playing, rich tone and extreme pitch bending for a shredding experience like none other. Step into your local Guitar Center and let the Synyster Gates Custom-S Relic show you what it’s like to be set free.
