Description

Discover the celestial music within you with the Taylor 264ce-K Deluxe 12-string acoustic-electric guitar. Featuring solid Hawaiian Koa top and layered Koa back and sides, this Grand Auditorium instrument delivers a vibrant shimmer and rich overtones that fill the air with harmonic brilliance. The Expression System 2 pickup translates the guitar’s stunning acoustic voice with pristine clarity so you can share it with audiences when plugged in.

Solid Hawaiian Koa Top Unlocks a Symphony of Tone

The 264ce-K DLX’s solid Koa top is the gateway to its lush 12-string sound. Koa’s natural compression produces a “roll-in” effect that balances the response of each string pair for an even, chimey quality. Fundamentals ring out with focus while cascading overtones swirl overhead. Strum a chord and you’re surrounded by an ethereal glow as notes reverberate in harmony. Fingerpick melodies spring to life, dancing on air. However you play, Koa coaxes nuance and complexity from 12 strings.

Layered Koa Body Provides Visual Depth

The 264ce-K DLX’s layered Koa back and sides are the perfect visual complement to its solid Koa top. Koa’s reddish-brown hues and captivating grain patterns give the guitar a sophisticated, high-end look. The layered construction helps the instrument better withstand changes in humidity while still producing a balanced and resonant sound.

Expression System 2 Reproduces Acoustic Detail

Taylor’s Expression System 2 combines three individually calibrated pickup sensors with a custom-designed preamp to capture the 264ce-K DLX’s acoustic voice in full dimension. The sensors register string and body vibrations from multiple positions behind the saddle for dynamic range. On stage or in the studio, the ES2 faithfully translates your guitar’s shimmering highs, rich midrange and supple low end with clarity and nuance so you can share the beauty of its 12-string tone when plugged in.

Premium Appointments for Premium Sound

To complement its tonewoods and electronics, the 264ce-K DLX features premium appointments like real MOP dot inlays, black binding and satin-finished hardware. The guitar includes a deluxe Taylor hardshell case for protection and comes with a 5-year limited factory warranty. For musicians seeking an inspiring 12-string guitar, the 264ce-K DLX is an experience that will resonate for a lifetime.
