Yamaha A-Series AC1M Cutaway Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar – Tobacco Sunburst

Description

The Yamaha A-Series AC1M cutaway concert acoustic-electric guitar. This concert-sized acoustic-electric guitar provides a vintage aesthetic with premium tonewoods and Yamaha’s acclaimed SRT piezo pickup system for a natural plugged-in sound. The solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides give warm, balanced tone with emphasized low-midrange frequencies. The AC1M is ideal for singer-songwriters and acoustic performers seeking an affordable, gig-ready guitar.

SRT Piezo Pickup Captures Natural Tone

Yamaha’s Studio Response Technology piezo pickup accurately captures the AC1M’s acoustic properties for an organic plugged-in sound. The System 66 preamp offers volume control, a built-in tuner, 3-band EQ and midrange frequency slider for tone shaping. Whether recording in the studio or performing on stage, the SRT pickup provides a dynamic, feedback-resistant tone that represents the guitar’s natural voice.

Played-in Feel Right Out of the Case

The AC1M features a mahogany neck with hand-rolled fingerboard edges for a smooth, comfortable feel. The straight taper neck and 1.69″ nut width are suited for most playing styles. A 14th-fret neck joint and cutaway body provide full access to the upper frets. The scalloped bracing pattern underneath the solid top results in a loud, expressive unplugged tone with an open sound.

Road-Ready Reliability

As part of Yamaha’s renowned A-Series, the AC1M is constructed to rigorous standards for longevity and consistent performance. The dovetail neck joint, rosewood bridge and high-quality components ensure stability and accurate intonation. A durable matte finish protects the tonewoods from humidity changes and temperature extremes. The AC1M travels with ease and handles the challenges of an active performing schedule.
