JBL SRX928S Dual 18″ Powered Subwoofer

Description

The JBL SRX928S Dual 18″ powered subwoofer, a revolutionary solution for anyone seeking earth-shattering bass. The SRX928S packs twin 18″ woofers with dual voice coils and dual gaps, churning out chest-thumping lows down to 31Hz. Upgraded for improved heat dissipation and wider dynamic range, these subwoofers handle the power demands of massive venues with ease. An integrated 2,500W power amplifier and advanced DSP?with 24-band parametric EQ, 2,000ms of delay, and JBL’s Array Size Compensation filter?provide plug-and-play convenience and sophisticated control.

Unparalleled Low-Frequency Horsepower

The SRX928S’ twin 18″ woofers feature neodymium magnets, proprietary Differential Drive technology and integrated heat sinks for high power handling, minimal distortion and maximum excursion. Capable of 131dB peak SPL, a single SRX928S subwoofer generates a seismic rumble. Link multiple units for block-shaking low end on the world’s largest stages.

Precision Pattern Control

Inspired by JBL’s flagship VTX line, the SRX928S’ custom-designed components and proprietary waveguide technology provide focused, defined low-frequency coverage with minimal energy behind the subwoofer. The result is tight, powerful bass where you need it, without unwanted reverberation.

Networking and Software Built for the Future

The SRX928S supports HARMAN’s HControl ethernet protocol for simplified networking and device ID. Two ethernet ports enable daisy-chaining multiple subwoofers, while Wi-Fi connectivity allows wireless control via the JBL Performance Manager app. JBL’s LAC-3 simulation software streamlines system design, and the rear-panel LCD provides on-speaker access to DSP parameters.

Road-Ready and Installation-Friendly

Housed in 18 mm plywood enclosures, SRX928S subwoofers are built to handle the rigors of tour sound yet flexible enough for permanent installation. A three-point rigging system allows ground-stacking, pole-mounting or flying up to 16 cabinets. 100V?250V auto-sensing amplifiers, durable polyethylene caps and weather-resistant components permit outdoor use. Transport is simplified via integrated handles and an optional caster board (sold separately).
