RCF NXL14-A-W Compact Active Point Source Speaker

Description

Experience the dynamic and versatile NXL14-A-W compact active point source speaker from RCF. Engineered to deliver pristine, high-power sound in any live application. Combining precision transducers with an advanced DSP and robust wooden enclosure, this portable speaker excels in settings where space is limited but uncompromising audio quality is paramount.

Precision-Matched Transducers

The NXL14-A-W’s sonic foundation starts with a 1.75″ PKX compression driver, featuring a rigid yet lightweight polymer dome reinforced with ribs for optimal performance. Developed by RCF’s precision transducer lab, this driver offers pinpoint accuracy and reliability. Dual 6″ neodymium woofers with water-resistant fiber-doped cones and hypervented magnetic structures handle robust bass frequencies with impressive power handling and cooling. Together, these meticulously engineered transducers produce a coherent, full-range wavefront with remarkable articulation.

Rotatable Waveguide

With its rotatable 100?x70? waveguide, you can optimize the NXL14-A-W’s dispersion pattern to your venue’s layout. Whether mounted horizontally or vertically, the symmetrical transducer alignment ensures smooth coverage and consistent directivity in any orientation. You’ll achieve superior intelligibility in challenging acoustic environments while minimizing phase distortion?making this speaker ideal for vocal reinforcement, monitoring or use as a versatile fill.

Roadworthy Design

Built for the rigors of daily use, the NXL14-A-W’s weatherproof enclosure combines high-strength plywood with a rugged polyurea coating for lasting durability. A powder-coated metal grille protects the front, while internal foam backing shields against dust and humidity. Rigging is quick and straightforward via the top/bottom Quick Fit sockets that allow for hanging, pole, truss, wall or ceiling mounting at any angle. With its unobtrusive form factor, you can unleash powerful sound without obstructing sightlines.

Advanced Bass Management

RCF’s innovative Bass Motion Control (BMC) technology maps the dynamic behavior of each woofer, generating a custom algorithm that only limits over-excursions. This allows the NXL14-A-W to handle ultralow frequencies with exceptional linearity and sound integrity?no need for traditional high-pass filters that compromise phase response. Unlock the speaker’s full potential by pairing it with RCF’s SUB AX subwoofer series, featuring factory-tuned crossover presets for seamless phase alignment down to the deepest lows.
