Description

The Jackson X Series Concert Bass CBXNT DX IV 34″scale bass is designed for one express purpose?delivering a thunderous low end. Upgraded electronics, a classically brutal style and fast, efficient playability make this bass a fundamental force to be reckoned with. Perfect for rock or metal, the CBXNT DX IV pairs a poplar body with a graphite-reinforced neck that generates formidable sustain and can withstand aggressive playing styles.

A Tone Tailored to Your Needs

The heart of this four-string beast is a Jackson J-style bridge pickup and Jackson P-style neck pickup, mated to an active 3-band EQ circuit. Sculpt your tone by adding punch, cutting through the mix or rumbling with the rhythm section. A stylish chrome Jackson Bass Bacher IV string-through-body hardtail bridge enhances note attack and sustain without altering your carefully crafted tone. Sealed die-cast tuning machines keep strings in tune, no matter how hard you dig in.

The CBXNT DX IV’s 12″-16″ compound radius bound laurel fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets make for lightning-fast playability. Glide your fingers effortlessly across the bass’s fretboard, whether executing rapid-fire runs or nailing syncopated rhythms. The graphite-reinforced neck provides stability and sustain, standing up to aggressive playing styles.

Sleek Style

The CBXNT DX IV ups the ante in the style realm with an all-new vivid Absynthe Frost, Gloss Black or Rocket Red finish, each featuring a parchment pickguard, pearloid sharkfin inlays, and chrome hardware including a bridge pickup cover. The Jackson pointed 4-in-line black headstock is the final touch on this beautifully brutal bass.
