Neck-Through Design With Compound Radius Fingerboard for Stability, Sustain and Fast Playing

This professional bass guitar features a neck-through design with five-piece maple, walnut and maple construction for exceptional stability and sustain. The caramelized jatoba fingerboard has a compound 12″-16″ radius that lets you play lightning-fast while minimizing fret buzz. Jumbo frets also facilitate intricate solos and chords up and down the fingerboard. Overall, the Spectra Bass neck offers the stability and smooth feel that pro bassists need to play their best.

Powerful Nordstrand Pickups for Versatile Tone with Punch and Clarity

The Jackson Pro Series Spectra Bass SBFM IV is equipped with a pair of Nordstrand SB4 soapbar pickups that deliver exceptional versatility. The bridge pickup produces bright, punchy tone with enhanced clarity and attack. The neck pickup offers a smooth, round low end paired with a clear top end. Blend the two pickups and you get a diverse palette for crafting your signature bass sound – from vintage growl to modern snap.

Advanced Controls Like 3-Band EQ for Shaping Your Sound

This professional bass guitar gives you advanced tone-shaping controls to craft your desired sound. The 3-band EQ lets you boost or cut lows, mids and highs. A 3-way mid toggle switch further lets you target specific midrange frequencies. An active/passive toggle bypasses the EQ while retaining bass tone in case of dead battery. Other features like the Jackson hardtail bridge provide rock-solid intonation and enhanced note attack and sustain.
