Description

Pioneer DJ’s DJM-S5 2-channel mixer is the ideal tool for aspiring and professional DJs looking to expand their battle mixing and turntablism chops. The DJM-S5 is designed for seamless integration with Serato DJ Pro, providing a plug-and-play experience. Pioneer DJ loaded the DJM-S5 with pro-level features from their flagship DJM series mixers, including two large effects levers controlling 57 Serato DJ Pro effects, eight top-quality performance pads with 13 pad modes, and the exquisite Magvel Fader Pro crossfader.

Wield Serato DJ Pro’s Arsenal of Effects

The DJM-S5’s pair of effects levers?identical to those on the DJM-S11?provide intuitive hands-on control of Serato DJ Pro’s library of 57 effects. Engage and tweak effects on the fly using the levers’ hold and lock positions. Save your favorite combinations in the mixer’s two effects banks for instant recall during performances.

Performance Pads for Sample Mastery

With four performance pads on each channel and 13 pad modes to choose from, the DJM-S5 makes sample triggering a breeze. Modes include Hot Cue, Roll, Sampler and Scratch Bank, which plays whole tracks or samples with a single pad tap. The pads’ high quality and responsive feel inspires creativity.

The Legendary Magvel Fader Pro

Pioneer DJ’s Magvel Fader Pro is renowned for its buttery-smooth operation and durability. Feeling Adjust allows DJs to customize the fader’s resistance and tension for the perfect scratch feel. The Magvel Fader Pro’s shock-absorbing bumpers prevent unwanted rebounds and reduce wear, ensuring years of scratching enjoyment.

Innovative Tools for Next-Level Scratching

The DJM-S5’s Scratch Cutter effect generates cutting effects synchronized to the music playing on the opposite deck. Choose from six Scratch Cutter patterns, activate the effect lever and scratch away. Crossfader Hot Cue creates scratch-like sounds using samples or tracks without touching the control disk or jog wheel?just move the crossfader to the desired position. These groundbreaking features expand creative possibilities for pro scratch DJs.
