Description
The Alvarez Laureate Series LF70e Folk-OM acoustic-electric guitar provides premium tonewoods and thoughtful construction for musicians seeking an instrument that sounds as stunning as it looks. Its solid Sitka spruce top, and Indian rosewood back and sides, produce a balanced tone with shimmering highs, warm lows and pleasing overtones. The L.R. Baggs HiFi pickup system captures the natural acoustic sound and dynamics for live performance, with volume and tone controls that let you shape your sound.
Premium Tonewoods Produce Rich, Nuanced Tone
With hand-selected tonewoods like solid Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood, the Laureate LF70e delivers the complex tone and responsive feel that serious players demand. The spruce top provides articulate highs and balanced midrange, while the rosewood back and sides add warmth and depth. These premium tonewoods, combined with the guitar’s thoughtful bracing and construction, result in an instrument with exceptional tonal balance, dynamics and harmonic complexity.
Innovative Bracing Enhances Resonance and Sustain
The Laureate Series LD70e features an FS6 bracing system that optimizes the response of the solid spruce top. Hand-cut braces made of quartersawn spruce efficiently transfer vibration through the top, enhancing resonance, sustain and volume. Even the side braces are hand-selected to match the rosewood back and sides, allowing the entire guitar to resonate as a cohesive whole.
Plug in and Play With the L.R. Baggs HiFi Pickup System
With the L.R. Baggs HiFi pickup system, you can amplify your Laureate LF70e naturally. The HiFi system accurately captures the guitar’s acoustic properties and tone, resisting feedback. Discreet bridge plate sensors listen to your instrument’s acoustic movement and tonewoods without dampening resonance. You’ll hear your guitar’s true voice through the system. Volume and tone controls mounted inside the guitar’s soundhole allow you to easily shape your amplified tone.
