Breedlove Legacy Redwood-Cocobolo Cutaway Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar Shadowburst

Description

The Breedlove Legacy Concert acoustic-electric guitar brings together exotic tonewoods and innovative electronics for fingerstyle players. This concert-sized guitar features a hand-selected figured redwood top and cocobolo back and sides that produce a warm, resonant tone. The L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup system lets you plug in for amplified performances while retaining the guitar’s natural acoustic sound. With its slim neck profile and cutaway body design, the Legacy Concert is comfortable and easy to play.

Handcrafted Redwood and Cocobolo for Resonant Tone

The Legacy Concert’s redwood top and cocobolo back and sides produce a balanced, nuanced tone perfect for fingerstyle playing. Redwood has an articulate high end and strong midrange, while cocobolo enhances the warmth and resonance. Together, they create clear note separation with rich overtones. The redwood is hand-selected for its figure that adds visual beauty. The all-solid wood body resonates freely for excellent projection thanks to Breedlove’s hand-voicing techniques.

Plug in With the L.R. Baggs Anthem Pickup System

The L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup and preamp system gives you the flexibility to plug the Legacy Concert into an amplifier or PA system. It uses an under-saddle piezo pickup and body sensor to accurately capture the guitar’s natural acoustic tone. The soundhole-mounted control panel makes it easy to shape your amplified tone with volume, treble, midrange and bass controls. The preamp’s transparent circuitry ensures your amplified tone remains true to the guitar’s acoustic voice.

Comfortable Playability With a Slim Neck

The Legacy Concert’s slim soft C-shaped neck profile provides comfortable playability. It’s ideal for smaller hands, while the shorter 25.5″ scale length reduces string tension for effortless bending. The ebony fingerboard is smoothly finished for fast playing across all 20 frets. The single-cutaway body shape and beveled armrest allow easy access to the highest notes. Whether practicing at home or performing live, the Legacy Concert is a pleasure to play.
