Breedlove Oregon All-Myrtlewood CE Concertina Acoustic-Electric Guitar Old Fashioned

Description

This Breedlove Oregon all-myrtlewood Concertina CE acoustic-electric guitar is a stunning instrument handcrafted from locally sourced native myrtlewood. With its myrtlewood body and neck, it delivers wonderfully rich, resonant tones. The LR Baggs Anthem pickup system provides versatile amplified tones. And with hand-voiced bracing through Breedlove’s Sound Optimization process, it is optimized for superior sound production and sustain. The Soft C neck profile offers comfortable playability. And the single cutaway allows easy access to upper frets.

Play Comfortably with Soft C Neck

The Oregon Concertina CE has a slim, Soft C neck profile that enables smooth, comfortable playability. The hand-rubbed satin finish further enhances the feel. The shorter 25″ scale length reduces string tension, making it very playable. The neck is crafted from eastern hard rock maple for stability and sustain. The fingerboard is ebony. Whether you have small hands or prefer a slimmer contour, you’ll find the neck very comfortable.

Resonant Myrtlewood Body and Neck

The all-myrtlewood body and neck give the Oregon Concertina CE a beautifully resonant, balanced tone. The myrtlewood’s natural acoustic properties let notes sing with remarkable clarity across the tonal spectrum. The back and sides are tuned with the solid myrtlewood top to create a light yet robust instrument. You can hear and feel the guitar vibrate against your body as you play. The myrtlewood is sustainably harvested and FSC certified, with nothing clear-cut.

Versatile Tones with LR Baggs Anthem Pickup

The LR Baggs Anthem pickup system lets you plug in and access an array of amplified tones. The soundhole-mounted preamp has volume and tone controls for dialing in your perfect sound. Roll off the highs for a smoother sound or boost mids to cut through the mix. The responsive pickup captures the guitar’s natural acoustic tone and lets it shine through effects. Use the preamp’s tuner output to run direct to the PA. The Oregon Concertina CE gives you acoustic and amplified versatility.

Hand-Voiced Bracing Optimizes Sound

Through Breedlove’s Sound Optimization process, experienced luthiers meticulously hand-voice the bracing by tapping and shaving the wood. They target specific frequencies to make the guitar sound its very best. This hand-voicing maximizes sound production and sustain for superior tone and response. The thin, optimized bracing reduces weight for added resonance and longer overtones. Every Oregon Concertina CE is individually crafted to optimize its unique voice.
