Hand-built in Bend, Oregon, it pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides to produce a balanced, scooped tonal profile that leaves space for vocals. Breedlove?s sound-optimized X-bracing and hand-voiced construction allow notes to bloom with clarity and sustain, supporting both nuanced fingerstyle playing and expressive strumming. A Soft C mahogany neck and African ebony fingerboard provide a fluid, modern feel, while LR Baggs HiFi electronics accurately translate the guitar?s detailed acoustic character for amplified performance. Finished with a Vintage Toner gloss and an ebony pinless bridge, the Roots Rosewood Concert is a polished instrument built for players who value classic tonewoods and modern reliability.

Sitka Spruce and East Indian Rosewood for Depth and Harmonic Detail

The Roots Rosewood Concert?s tonal foundation combines a solid Sitka spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides. Sitka spruce contributes clarity, responsiveness and articulate highs, while rosewood adds depth, warmth and complex harmonic content. Breedlove?s sound-optimized X-bracing and hand-voiced design ensure even projection and tonal balance, allowing the guitar to respond consistently under delicate fingerpicking or full dynamic strumming. The concert body shape offers a responsive mid-sized platform with enough presence for both stage and studio use.

Soft C Mahogany Neck and Ebony Fingerboard for Smooth Playability

The Honduran mahogany neck is carved to Breedlove?s Soft C profile, offering a comfortable, low-profile feel that supports extended playing sessions and fluid movement across the neck. A semi-gloss finish promotes natural hand motion, while the African ebony fingerboard delivers a stable, responsive surface with clear articulation across all 20 frets. With a 25.5″ scale length and 1.75″ nut width, the neck and fingerboard provide a familiar, controlled response that encourages expressive playing in any position.

LR Baggs HiFi Electronics for Natural Amplified Performance

Outfitted with LR Baggs HiFi electronics, the Roots Rosewood Concert delivers a clear, natural amplified sound that preserves its acoustic character. The non-invasive dual bridge plate sensor system captures both string energy and top vibration for balanced dynamics and strong definition. A studio-voiced onboard preamp provides ample headroom and dependable feedback resistance, making the system well suited for live performance, recording and rehearsal environments.

Pinless Ebony Bridge and Refined Appointments

The Roots Rosewood Concert features thoughtful appointments designed to support playability and durability. A pinless ebony bridge allows for quick string changes while maintaining accurate intonation and sustain. A bone nut and saddle enhance clarity and note definition, while a koa rosette, centered dot fingerboard inlays and Vintage Toner gloss finish add understated visual character. Breedlove nickel tuners provide smooth, reliable tuning stability, and Elixir Phosphor Bronze light-gauge strings deliver long-lasting tone. A deluxe brown hardshell case completes the package for secure transport and protection.
