Description
Few guitar players have achieved the level of respect among peers and devoted fan following of Mike Campbell. His playing and writing with Tom Petty & The Hearbreakers have set a bar for others to aspire to. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Heartbreakers, Duesenberg and Campbell created this special-edition signature instrument. Featuring a resonant spruce and maple semi-hollowbody design in Blue Metallic with iconic racing stripes, this guitar boasts a nickel plated pickguard with Campbell’s signature prominently displayed.
With Duesenberg’s renowned pickup designs, the Campbell 40th Anniversary delivers balanced tones that can go from mellow to mad with a flip of the pickup selector or a simple control adjustment. The carefully Plek’d 22-fret Indian rosewood fingerboard is fast and easy-playing, and a perfect match to the comfortable vintage-D neck profile.
Finally, the famed Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola tailpiece provides just the right touch of vibrato action, smooth, easy and stable. It includes a deluxe hardshell case.
