Gretsch Guitars Broadkaster LX Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar – Havana Burst

Description

Big, bold Gretsch tone?without the volume ceiling. The Broadkaster LX is designed for players who love the dimensional character of a semi-hollowbody but demand clarity, control and confidence at stage volume. A redesigned Channel Core center block, crafted from layered maple and spruce, delivers faster attack and enhanced midrange punch while keeping the sound focused and articulate under gain. A striking flamed maple body with deeper cutaways offers elegant lines and unrestricted upper-fret access, while the ebony fingerboard adds snap, definition and a refined feel beneath the fingers. Pro Twin Six humbucking pickups provide a wide dynamic range, capturing shimmering cleans, muscular midrange and rich harmonic detail with unmistakable Gretsch character. Paired with a string-thru Bigsby B7GP for smooth, stable vibrato response, the Broadkaster LX balances vintage style with modern performance in a guitar built to thrive on today?s stages.

Flamed Maple Body With Channel Core for Balanced, Responsive Tone

The Broadkaster LX features a laminated flamed maple body with an arched top, chosen for its vibrant resonance and stunning visual depth. A redesigned Channel Core center block combines maple and spruce to produce faster attack, enhanced midrange punch and controlled sustain, giving the guitar full-spectrum tone at any volume. Deeper cutaways allow unhindered access to the upper frets, ensuring comfort and freedom for lead passages and complex chord work. The result is a guitar that projects with power, clarity and nuanced musicality across its entire range.

Maple Neck With Ebony Fingerboard for Speed, Articulation and Comfort

The standard U-shaped maple neck offers a confident, familiar grip that balances comfort with support, making it equally at home under complex chord voicings and fluid lead lines. Its 24.6″ scale length provides a naturally slinky feel without sacrificing articulation, while the ebony fingerboard adds snap, clarity and a refined attack to every note. A 12″ radius with rolled edges creates a smooth, broken-in feel that encourages effortless position shifts, and 22 medium-jumbo frets strike an ideal balance between precision and expressive control. Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays and Luminlay side dots ensure intuitive navigation across the neck, even when stage lighting fades.

Pro Twin Six Humbuckers for Dynamic, Versatile Tone

At the heart of the Broadkaster LX are dual Pro Twin Six humbuckers, voiced to deliver unmistakable Gretsch clarity with the power and headroom demanded by modern stages. These pickups balance articulate high-end snap with a full, authoritative midrange, retaining definition whether played clean, pushed into classic crunch, or driven hard. A three-position toggle switch provides immediate access to neck, bridge or combined voices, while individual pickup volumes allow fine-grained blending. A master volume with treble bleed preserves high-end detail as levels are rolled back, and a master no-load tone control with a Squeezebox capacitor offers a wide, musical sweep from open and airy to thick and focused.

Bigsby B7GP String-Thru Vibrato and Rock-Solid Hardware

The Broadkaster LX pairs a string-thru Bigsby B7GP vibrato tailpiece with an anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge for a smooth, confident vibrato feel and dependable tuning stability. The response is fluid and controlled, with notes staying focused and resonant whether you?re adding subtle shimmer or leaning into expressive bends. A Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut and Gotoh locking tuners keep tuning solid under vibrato use and make string changes fast and painless. Finished in gold, the hardware completes the guitar?s refined aesthetic while supporting a playing experience that feels responsive, stable and unmistakably professional.

The Broadkaster LX: Classic Gretsch Tone, Modern Performance

The Gretsch Broadkaster LX is a striking expression of what a modern Gretsch can be?powerful, refined and unapologetically expressive.
