Ibanez FRM350 Paul Gilbert Signature Electric Guitar – Black

Few players have inspired guitarists worldwide like Paul Gilbert. From his blazing speed with Racer X to hook-filled anthems with Mr. Big and a prolific solo career, Paul remains a beacon of technique and musicality. Of course, his long partnership with Ibanez has produced many popular guitars, but the FRM350 Paul Gilbert signature arguably captures every side of his artistry. Built from lightweight okoume for a bright, balanced tone and all-day comfort, the Ibanez FRM350 features a three-piece okoume/maple neck with an ebony fingerboard for speed, sustain, and precision. Meanwhile, two DiMarzio Air Classic humbuckers delivers Paul?s signature clarity and warmth across clean, crunch, and lead tones, while his clever slide magnet keeps creativity literally within reach. The result is a guitar that leans into Paul?s patented blend of innovation, playability, and pure rock energy.

Lightweight Body

Built from lightweight okoume, the FRM350 solidbody guitar emits a bright, balanced voice while keeping shoulder strain to a minimum. Its reversed Ibanez Fireman body shape makes a statement onstage while providing all-day comfort in the studio or practice room.

Fast, Stable Neck for Precision Playing

A three-piece okoume/maple neck combines with an ebony fingerboard to give you stability, speed, and sustain. Plus, 22 narrow-tall frets encourage rapid alternate-picking runs, wide bends, marathon arpeggios, and expressive phrasing ? the same concepts and techniques Paul teaches his online guitar students.

DiMarzio Pickups Bring the Heat

Two DiMarzio Air Classic humbuckers capture Paul Gilbert?s patented tone: warm and articulate with ample sustain. Plus, with the 5-way selector, you can move easily from clean tones to dirty rhythms and searing rock leads, mirroring Paul’s diverse stylistic capabilities.

Rock-Solid Hardware

The Gibraltar Performer bridge ensures tuning stability and sustain, while the Quik Change Classic tailpiece makes string swaps quick and effortless. These premium components ensure the FRM350 electric guitar is dependable and stage ready, no matter how hard you dig in.

Slide Magnet Innovation

One of Paul Gilbert?s recent trademarks is the incorporation of a slide magnet, a clever add-on that keeps a slide within reach for instant transitions between shred lines and soulful slide melodies. It?s an intelligent touch?and the proverbial icing on the cake that makes the Ibanez FRM350 uniquely Paul Gilbert.
