Ibanez IV1RG Visions Electric Guitar

Description

Some instruments feel engineered for performance. Others feel crafted with intention. The Ibanez IV1RG Visions electric guitar brings those worlds together, pairing a striking burl maple top over a resonant black limba body with a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, DiMarzio Air Norton, True Velvet and The Tone Zone pickups, and a Super Wizard 5-piece maple/purpleheart neck that rewards precision and nuance. Built meticulously by the Ibanez Japan Custom Shop, the Visions RG marks a forward-looking expression of craftsmanship rooted in the brand?s most iconic design. The resulting IV1RG Visions delivers the speed, response and tonal depth serious players expect from a high-end RG, with refinement you can feel in every note.

Premium Tonewoods With Warmth, Resonance and Visual Depth

A beautifully figured burl maple top gives the IV1RG Visions an immediately distinctive aesthetic, while the black limba body anchors the instrument with a warm, harmonically rich acoustic character. The combination produces a responsive low end and lively midrange that translates naturally into both rhythm work and singing lead tones. Rather than chasing flash for its own sake, the wood pairing underscores the Visions philosophy?modern artistry guided by musical purpose.

Super Wizard Neck and Stainless Steel Frets Built for Speed and Control

The Super Wizard 5-piece maple/purpleheart neck delivers the fast, ultra-stable playing feel that has defined generations of RG performance. Its slim profile encourages effortless position shifts and articulate phrasing, while the ebony fingerboard responds with tight lows, focused mids and a quick attack. Jumbo stainless steel frets enhance clarity and durability, and the Visions fret edge treatment creates an exceptionally smooth perimeter feel that stays comfortable through long sessions on stage or in the studio. Finally, Tree of Life inlays add a distinctive visual flair.

DiMarzio Pickup Set With Dynamic Range and Musical Versatility

A DiMarzio Air Norton in the neck, True Velvet in the middle and The Tone Zone in the bridge give the IV1RG a wide tonal palette optimized through a 5-way selector. From warm, vocal neck textures to articulate single-coil-style chime and high-energy bridge punch, the pickups deliver depth and dynamic response rather than one-dimensional output. Whether you lean into progressive leads, articulate fusion lines or saturated modern rock tones, this guitar adapts every step of the way.

Lo-Pro Edge Tremolo and Gotoh Hardware for Confident Performance

Ibanez’s legendary Lo-Pro Edge tremolo offers a streamlined, low-profile feel that stays comfortable under the picking hand, with locking studs that support rock-solid tuning stability through expressive vibrato and aggressive pitch work. Gotoh machine heads provide precise tuning response, and Gotoh strap lock pins add secure stage-ready reliability. Every component feels deliberately chosen to support confident, performance-first playing.

A Masterwork Expression of the Ibanez Visions Design Ethos

The IV1RG Visions reflects a design language that connects Ibanez past, present and future?honoring the RG?s sculpted identity while exploring new aesthetic and tactile refinements. From its elevated fretwork to its resonant tonewood construction and premium hardware choices, it presents as a singular instrument rather than a variation on a theme. For players who demand speed, nuance and sonic dimension in equal measure, the Ibanez IV1RG electric guitar delivers a performance platform with unmistakable personality. It is built not just to keep up with your technique, but to inspire where it can take you next.
