Description

Ibanez is proud to offer the premium RG electric guitar, a high-performance instrument packed with innovative features for the modern rock and metal guitarist. Featuring a basswood body with poplar burl top and neck-through construction, the RG delivers massive sustain and easy access up to the 24th fret. A pair of DiMarzio humbuckers provide huge, dynamic tone with a broad range and the dyna-MIX 10 wiring system offers ten different sonic variations to explore.

High-Output Humbuckers for Aggressive Tone

The RG is loaded with a DiMarzio Air Norton neck humbucker and The Tone Zone bridge humbucker, providing aggressive tone ideal for rock and metal. The Air Norton has a warm, full tone with rich harmonics in the neck position. The Tone Zone has a hot output and midrange cut, tight lows and detailed highs in the bridge position. Together they offer a huge sound with clarity and punch.

Versatile Dyna-MIX 10 Wiring for Maximum Flexibility

The RG features Ibanez’s dyna-MIX 10 wiring system, offering ten different pickup combinations with the flip of a switch. Coil-split the humbuckers for single-coil tones or activate power Tap mode for increased highs and lows. With series, parallel and split-coil options, this guitar can produce tones from sparkling cleans to high-gain overdrive and everything in between.

Wizard III Neck and Premium Construction

This sleek guitar has a comfortable, fast Wizard III neck made of maple and walnut. The ebony fingerboard has 24 jumbo frets with Premium Fret Edge Treatment for a smooth feel. The neck-through design provides exceptional sustain and easy access to higher frets. Gotoh tuners and a Mono-rail bridge ensure rock-solid tuning stability and precise intonation adjustment.

Gig Bag Included for Protection

The RG Premium comes with an included gig bag designed specifically for this model to keep it protected for years of playing enjoyment. The bag features padded handles, durable construction and multiple storage compartments for cables, straps and other accessories.
