Ibanez S Prestige S6621AH Electric Guitar – Transparent Gray Burst

Description

The Ibanez S6621AH electric guitar brings together the lightweight feel of the S body design with the precision-focused build Ibanez is known for at its highest level. Built in Japan, this Prestige model uses an African mahogany body topped with ash to deliver a rich mid-low response with added brightness and definition. A bolt-on Super Wizard HP neck made from maple and walnut, reinforced with KTS titanium rods, keeps the profile thin, fast and exceptionally stable. The bound rosewood fingerboard carries 24 jumbo frets with Prestige fret edge treatment, while a DiMarzio Air Norton and The Tone Zone pickup pairing provides a wide dynamic range suited for both fluid lead work and aggressive rhythm playing.

A Lightweight Body That Balances Comfort and Tone

The sculpted S body is designed to be thin and lightweight without sacrificing resonance. African mahogany contributes warmth and depth in the low end, while the ash top adds clarity and attack, giving the guitar a balanced voice that works well across gain levels. The contoured shape sits comfortably against the body, making long rehearsals and performances feel effortless.

Super Wizard HP Neck With Titanium Reinforcement

The Super Wizard HP neck is built for speed and accuracy, with a slim profile that supports fast position shifts and wide stretches. Its 5-piece maple and walnut construction is reinforced with KTS titanium rods to improve stability and resist movement over time. The result is a neck that feels smooth and responsive while staying consistent under demanding playing conditions.

Rosewood Fingerboard With Prestige Fret Treatment

The bound rosewood fingerboard delivers a focused midrange and smooth top end that complements the S series? tonal character. 24 jumbo frets provide quick response and clean articulation for both chords and single-note lines, while Prestige fret edge treatment ensures a refined, comfortable feel along the edges. This setup supports precise technique without feeling restrictive.

DiMarzio Air Norton and Tone Zone Pickup Pairing

A DiMarzio Air Norton in the neck position offers warmth and clarity for expressive lead tones, while The Tone Zone at the bridge adds output, low-end punch and sustain for heavier rhythm work. Controlled by a 5-way selector, this pickup combination delivers a broad range of usable sounds that transition easily between clean, driven and high-gain settings.

Gibraltar Bridge and Reliable Hardware

The S6621AH’s Gibraltar Standard III bridge features a redesigned baseplate and saddles that improve playing comfort while ensuring efficient string vibration transfer. Gotoh MG-T locking tuning machines help maintain tuning stability and reduce string change time, rounding out a hardware setup designed for consistent performance. Supplied with an Ibanez hardshell case, the S Prestige S6621AH is built to handle professional studio and stage use with confidence.
