Jackson Pro Plus Series Chris Broderick Signature Soloist 7 7-String Electric Guitar – Transparent Black

Description

Players who follow Chris Broderick?s work know his 7-string vocabulary is a world of surgical riffs, extended-range harmonies and hyper-precise technique?and the Jackson Pro Plus Series Chris Broderick Signature Soloist 7 is built to meet that intensity head-on. Developed with the Megadeth, Act of Defiance and In Flames alumnus, this model blends a mahogany body and flamed maple top with a neck-through, graphite-reinforced three-piece maple neck for the sustain, clarity and tuning stability extended-range players depend on. A pair of direct-mount DiMarzio Chris Broderick signature humbuckers delivers the tight lows, crisp harmonics and exceptional note separation needed for down-tuned riffing and intricate lead work. With advanced electronics, a TESI killswitch and the Gotoh 1996T-7 tremolo anchoring the hardware, the Soloist 7 gives modern metal guitarists a platform built for technical performance and expressive control across the extended range.

DiMarzio Broderick Signature Pickups Deliver Extended-Range Clarity

The Soloist 7?s direct-mount DiMarzio Chris Broderick signature humbuckers are voiced for the tight low end and articulate attack extended-range metal demands. From palm-muted riffs to wide-interval leads, these pickups maintain definition without harshness. A push/pull volume knob engages coil splitting for single-coil sparkle, while the three-way toggle switch provides fast access to rhythmic punch, lead presence or blended textures. The tonal palette is broad enough for aggressive metal phrasing yet refined enough for clean passages and ambient layering?ideal for players navigating complex 7-string compositions.

Neck-Through Maple Construction Enhances Sustain and Stability

A three-piece maple neck reinforced with graphite rods runs through the body, providing the strength and consistency needed for a 7-string?s additional tension. The natural satin finish keeps hand movement smooth during demanding passages, while the bound ebony fingerboard?featuring 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and a fast 12″ radius?supports everything from tight chord voicings to high-speed lead work. Combined with the extended scale and durable scarf joint, the neck-through design yields impressive sustain, even response across all seven strings and the kind of tuning stability required for drop-tuned performance.

Advanced Electronics Support Creative Performance

Alongside coil splitting, the Soloist 7 includes a push/pull tone knob to activate or bypass the tone circuit for broader shaping options. A TESI momentary killswitch adds performance-ready stutter effects?perfect for rhythmic accents, glitch techniques and high-impact transitions on stage. This intuitive control layout keeps tonal adjustments fast and musical, allowing players to move seamlessly from precision riffing to expressive lead textures without interrupting their flow.

Gotoh 1996T-7 Tremolo and Premium Jackson Hardware

The recessed Gotoh 1996T-7 double-locking tremolo system is built for extended-range pitch control, maintaining tuning integrity through extreme vibrato, deep dive bombs and intricate motion. Paired with a locking nut and Jackson die-cast tuners, the guitar stays locked in even under aggressive stage use. Jackson locking strap buttons add secure handling, while the black hardware complements the guitar?s sleek, modern appearance. These components form a road-worthy foundation engineered for the demands of progressive, technical and down-tuned playing styles.
