Description

Step into a guitar that sounds like it?s been on the road for decades from day one. The Martin 000E Retro Plus acoustic-electric guitar bridges the gap between classic 28-style heritage and modern Road Series performance. Paired with solid granadillo back and sides, it offers rich sustain, sparkling highs and a warm midrange that projects beautifully across all six strings. The 000 body ensures exceptional balance, while an ebony fingerboard and Performing Artist neck provide smooth, effortless playability. Finished with Style 28-inspired appointments and LR Baggs Element electronics, this stage-ready auditorium is built to inspire wherever your journey takes you.

Torrefied Spruce and Granadillo for Immediate, Balanced Tone

The tonal identity of the 000E Retro Plus begins with a torrefied spruce top that?s been thermally aged to emulate decades of play, producing a clear, lively voice that responds naturally to both nuanced fingerstyle and dynamic strumming. Granadillo back and sides provide warm, rich mids with defined low-end punch and sparkling highs. Scalloped X-bracing enhances top vibration, offering enhanced articulation, projection and sustain that make every note resonate fully. Together, these elements give the 000E Retro Plus acoustic-electric guitar a voice that?s balanced, expressive and ready for recording or live performance straight out of the case.

Performing Artist Neck and Ebony Fingerboard for Responsive Play

The 000E Retro Plus features Martin?s Performing Artist neck profile with a high-performance taper, giving players a smooth, modern feel that supports effortless fretting, fast chord changes and expressive playing. Its 24.9″ scale length strikes a perfect balance between string tension and responsiveness, while an ebony fingerboard provides a silky, stable surface that feels immediate under the fingers. Plek?d at the factory for precise fretwork, and complemented by Style 28-inspired dot inlays, this neck/fingerboard combination ensures consistent playability from first fret to last, inviting long sessions without fatigue and empowering nuanced expression across all styles.
