Roundback Design Projects with Clarity

Ovation’s iconic rounded back construction gives the CS24P a focused, articulate voice. The mid-depth body, made of durable and lightweight Lyrachord, provides optimal resonance without feedback. Pair it with the selected spruce top and scalloped X-bracing and this guitar rings out with shimmering highs, warm lows and a clear midrange. The roundback design also improves projection, letting your tone cut through on stage or in the studio.

Slim Neck and Low Action Ensure Playability

Whether you have small or large hands, you’ll find the CS24P’s nato neck comfortable to play. It has an easy-playing slim taper profile and low action that makes fretting chords and ripping solos equally effortless. The ovangkol fingerboard, with its lightly finished feel, speeds up finger work along the neck. Dot inlays help guide you to each pitch. Overall, the neck design ensures you can focus on your performance instead of struggling with playability.

Onboard Electronics Provide Studio-Quality Tone Control

Shape your acoustic tone with the CS24P’s OP-4CT preamp system with tuner. This intuitive four-band EQ lets you adjust bass, mid and treble frequencies as well as a presence control for the high-midrange. Dial in extra warmth or crispness to suit different styles or cut through a mix. The preamp also has a built-in tuner so you can check your tuning at a glance on stage or in practice. Overall, the OP-4CT gives you studio-level tone shaping and convenience in one small preamp.
