PRS McCarty 594 Mango Limited Edition Electric Guitar – Black Gold Burst

Description

Vintage-inspired feel meets distinctive tonewoods in the PRS McCarty 594 Mango Limited Edition electric guitar. This limited-run model pairs a figured mango top and ziricote fretboard with the tradition-minded foundation of the McCarty 594 platform, including a slightly thicker mahogany body, 24.594″ scale length, Pattern Vintage neck carve and McCarty III pickups. The result preserves the warmth, substance and articulate voice players expect from a 594 while introducing a more distinctive visual identity. Limited to 200 instruments for 2026, this McCarty 594 balances classic feel with expanded tonal range and carefully selected appointments.

Figured Mango Top and Ziricote Appointments for Distinctive Visual Character

The figured mango top brings natural movement and depth to the carved mahogany body, giving each instrument a unique appearance. A ziricote fretboard and matching headstock veneer add darker contrast and reinforce the guitar?s premium presentation. These appointments introduce a more distinctive visual identity while maintaining the refined, understated aesthetic that defines the McCarty 594.

McCarty III Pickups and Dual-Control Layout for Expanded Range

PRS McCarty III pickups provide the warm, full humbucking voice associated with the 594 platform, while the dual-volume, dual push/pull tone controls expand tonal flexibility. Combined with a 3-way toggle, the layout allows players to move between thicker humbucking sounds and clearer, leaner textures. This added range preserves vintage influence while offering modern versatility.

Mahogany Body Construction for Warmth and Sustain

The slightly thicker mahogany body anchors the guitar?s tonal character with warmth, sustain and clarity. This construction supports the McCarty 594?s grounded response, allowing chords to bloom naturally and single notes to remain articulate. The added mass contributes to the model?s sense of substance, reinforcing its tradition-inspired feel while maintaining balance across the frequency range.

24.594″ Scale Length and Pattern Vintage Neck for Classic Feel

The mahogany neck leverages PRS?s Pattern Vintage carve and the model?s signature 24.594″ scale length to create a fuller, more deliberate playing experience. A 10″ radius ziricote fretboard, 22 PRS Vintage frets and bone binding complete a surface that feels smooth and substantial under the hands. This design suits players who prefer a more traditional neck feel with steady response and controlled articulation.

Two-Piece Bridge and Traditional Hardware for Resonant Response

The PRS two-piece bridge, bone nut and Phase III non-locking tuners reinforce the guitar?s resonant feel and direct response. These hardware choices support the McCarty 594?s tradition-minded personality while maintaining tuning stability and clarity. Limited to 200 instruments in 2026, the McCarty 594 Mango Limited Edition electric guitar blends classic feel, expanded tonal flexibility and distinctive appointments with impeccable PRS craftsmanship.
