PRS SE Custom 24 Quilt Top Electric Guitar Lake Blue

Description

The PRS SE Custom 24 Quilt Top electric guitar brings classic PRS design into new sonic territory, with a visually striking quilted maple veneer and advanced coil-tap electronics. This solidbody model uses a maple top and mahogany back to create a punchy, resonant sound that responds well to dynamic playing. The shallow violin carve on the body adds comfort and enhances resonance, while the 24-fret maple neck and ebony fretboard give players full access to high notes for solos and technical runs. Dual humbuckers, controlled by two mini-toggle coil-tap switches and a three-way toggle, offer eight distinct pickup settings. The SE Custom 24 Quilt Top suits players who want to experiment with tone and need a guitar that stays reliable during long sessions or live gigs.

Dual Humbuckers and Coil-Tap System Enable Eight Pickup Configurations

Two TCI “S” humbuckers sit at the neck and bridge, each with its own coil-tap switch. These mini-toggles split the humbuckers into single-coil mode, adding bright, snappy tones. The three-way toggle controls pickup selection, so users can blend or isolate pickups in both single-coil and humbucker modes. This system creates eight unique settings, allowing players to shape their sound for both rhythm and lead. Each option gives a clear, specific voice, supporting expressive playing and tonal exploration.

Wide Thin Neck Profile and Ebony Fretboard Enhance Playability

The guitar uses a wide thin maple neck with a multi-ply build for extra stability. Bird inlays mark the 24-fret ebony fingerboard, which has a 10″ radius for smooth bends and fast runs. The neck?s profile lets players move quickly between chords and solos, while the double-acting truss rod supports consistent action. The combination of maple and ebony produces a snappy attack and helps maintain tuning during long performances, supporting technical growth and accurate fretting.

PRS Tremolo Bridge and Tuners Maintain Setup Stability

The PRS patented tremolo bridge creates smooth pitch bends and vibrato, while nickel hardware resists wear over time. PRS-designed tuners keep the guitar in tune, even with aggressive tremolo use. Controls include a master volume and tone knob, along with the pickup toggles, laid out for quick adjustments on stage. The setup is easy to dial in, allowing players to respond fast during live sets or studio work. The bridge and controls work together to support expressive playing without sacrificing reliability.

Solid Construction With Maple, Mahogany, and Quality Hardware

Mahogany makes up the back of the body, providing warmth and sustain. The quilted maple veneer adds visual depth and protects the top wood. A set neck joint and durable hardware, including a PRS nut, keep the instrument solid during travel and frequent use. Nickel hardware resists corrosion, and the included gig bag protects the guitar between sessions. Built for regular gigging and practice, the materials and design ensure lasting performance and stable tuning.
