Schecter Guitar Research Machine Gun Kelly Razor Blade Electric Guitar Metallic Silver

Description

Designed in collaboration with rap rocker Machine Gun Kelly, the Schecter MGK Razor Blade electric guitar melds his artistic aesthetic with Schecter’s superb craftsmanship. This shiny and sleek, stage-ready ax sports MGK’s iconic double X fingerboard inlay and a wild chrome body for visual flair. Under the hood, it’s built for speedy riffing and articulate leads courtesy of a thin, fast maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Punchy tone comes from a Pasadena Plus pickup and onboard killswitch to nail those signature MGK sounds. Keeping it all stable is a hardtail bridge and locking tuners. This flashy, hardtail electric guitar is built for Machine Gun Kelly’s explosive playing style, with the quality and durability that Schecter is known for.

Fast, Thin C-shaped 3-piece Maple Neck with Carbon Fiber Reinforcement for Stability

Built for speed, the MGK Razor Blade’s fast-playing maple neck has a thin, flattened C-shaped profile that fits like a glove. Three-piece construction enhances stability and sustain. Two carbon fiber reinforcement rods run through the neck to fight twisting and warping. The ebony fingerboard has a moderate 14″ radius and XX inlay at the 12th fret echoing MGK’s signature. Tall jumbo stainless steel frets allow for expressive vibrato and string bending.

Ebony Fingerboard with XX Inlay at 12th Fret for Smooth Playability

An ebony fingerboard provides a smooth surface for fast lead playing. Ebony’s dense grain lends crisp note articulation and bright tone. The XX inlay at the 12th fret mirrors MGK’s signature fingerboard styling. A comfortable 14″ radius and generously sized jumbo frets make string bending a breeze. Overall the thin profile neck and ebony fingerboard create a fast, fluid playing experience.

Pasadena Plus Bridge Pickup and Killswitch for Signature MGK Tones

Harness Machine Gun Kelly’s signature sound with the Pasadena Plus humbucker and onboard killswitch. The Pasadena Plus pickup serves up hot output with focused mids and tight lows to cut through a mix. Flick the discrete killswitch to cut the signal for cool stutter effects. A master volume knob lets you go from searing leads to cleaner rhythm tones on the fly. Together the pickup and killswitch capture MGK’s genre-bending sound.

Hipshot Hardtail Bridge and Schecter Locking Tuners Keep You In Tune

The Schecter MGK Razor Blade guitar stays rock solid during live gigs thanks to its Hipshot hardtail bridge and locking tuners. The Hipshot bridge provides precise intonation, sustain and tuning stability. Schecter locking tuners use an internal locking mechanism to clamp down on the strings, helping maintain pitch as you wail. Together they keep your guitar sounding pitch-perfect, even when you’re string bending and tremolo picking through high-gain riffs.
